This machine is all infected again. We either have to stick with the cleanup procedure or forget about it. You may want to let the IT department at your company do the cleanup. In any event, I will not procede unless the following is not done:


1.

• Click START then RUN
• Now type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK

The above procedure will:

• Delete the following:
  • ComboFix and its associated files and folders.
  • VundoFix backups, if present
  • The C:\Deckard folder, if present
  • The C:_OtMoveIt folder, if present
• Reset the clock settings.
• Hide file extensions, if required.
• Hide System/Hidden files, if required.
• Reset System Restore.

2. You don't appear to be running any anti-virus software

Anti-virus software are programs that detect, clean, and/or erase harmful virus files on a computer. Unchecked, virus files can unintentionally be forwarded to others, and thereby spread infection. Keeping your anti-virus updated is essential.

Please download a free anti-virus software from one these excellent vendors NOW:

• Antivir PersonalEdition Classic .
• AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition

It is strongly recommended that you run only one antivirus program at a time. Having more than one antivirus program active in memory uses additional resources and can result in program conflicts and false virus alerts.


3 After the Antivirus has been installed, please post a fresh HijackThis log.
