Hello,
I have been tasked with fixing a computer at my office. Something strange is running, but I have not been able to identify the culprit. When you log on, a blank window appears that has a little red colored shield icon in the title area of the window along with text that states system scanning in process...., then the title bar text changes to Scan is finished... You can now click the X to close this window. After closing this window, the computer functions but it is very slow to respond and you get random balloon messages from the task bar that state explicit content found, corrupted data, all kinds of different messages. Norton has not been able to identify anything.

Here is a Hijackthis log file along with a SmitFraud log file.

Thanks
GRTArona
