I believe my husband's computer has been infected with something called bravia, and also something called UCleaner.
I have a small red circle with a white X . He keeps getting pop-ups saying he's infected; there are now desk top items named "Error Cleaner' 'Privacy Protector' and 'Spyware&Malware Protection'. he keeps getting a pop-up stating his computer has been infected with Worm.Win32.NetBooster. I thought I had it all gone [I followed advice given to others in their own threads]. But when he turned on his computer the next morning the red circle was back and a few hours later everything else I had gotten rid of was back. I've downloaded the TrendMicro Hijack This program and Smitfraud. I've also downloaded AVG, Spyblaster and Avenger. I've gone to BitDefender and scanned 2 or 3 times. Still this carp** keeps coming back, so........I've reached the level of my incompetence....someone please help me!!!

Here is a Hijack this log and then a Smitfraud log

Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2

Hi lisag63,

Please do not use SmitfraudFix or any other tools unless instructed - if incorrectly used they can cause serious system problems.

Please open this page in your browser:
http://www.bleepingc....php?channel=32

Please fill in the link to topic field with a link to this topic
Copy/paste the following into the Browse to the file you want to submit field:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\vszgdgtu.exe

Then press Send File, this will upload the file for analysis

Download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) to your Desktop (right-click the link, select Save Target As..., select your Desktop and press Save)
  • Close all applications and windows.
  • Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
  • When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt<-this one will be minimized
  • Make sure Format->Word Wrap is unchecked
  • Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your reply

Once complete, please post both DSS logs, you won't need to produce a new HijackThis log as DSS produces one for you.

Hi lisag63,

It looks like you posted part of the DSS report as a comment to the upload, please do this to make new DSS reports and post them as a response to this thread:
  • Make sure DSS.exe is on your Desktop
  • Press the Start->Run, copy/paste the following command into the box and press OK:

    "%userprofile%\desktop\dss.exe" /config

  • A configuration box will appear, make sure all boxes are checked and press Scan!

Hi lisag63,

It appears that you have posted the DSS results as a comment to the file upload again.

If you still need help, I would like you to make new DSS reports and post them as a response to this topic. This is done by pressing the Add Reply button at the bottom of this post, copy/pasting the reports into the box and pressing Add Reply. If you have any difficulties please let me know.
