The Recovery Console is from Microsoft, which is there to make emergency boot disks, but you can only make floppies with it, cd's being extremely difficult to create. For heavily infected machines, we have the user install it, as an extra backup. They only work for retail copies of Windows not OEM (installed by manufacturer)
