all i need is to know if theres anything there i should delete, thanks in advance
hi LoKo,

all i need is to know if theres anything there i should delete

i'll say there is.

you have several malware components with possible backdoor functionality. i would use this computer as little as possible until its cleaned up- dont use anything with passwords, banking, credit cards etc.

first we will use hjt, then boot into safe mode to look for and delete some files if found.

hjt:
start HJT, click the "Scan" button. check the items below, close any open windows, then click "Fixed checked"

you should copy/paste the safe mode part into notepad and save it so you can find and read it in safe mode.
to reach safe mode you would tap the f8 key during a computer restart, chose the first option form the list: SAFE MODE
once at the safe mode desktop;

to help show all files:
FOr XP: on the desktop double click my computer,go to tools>folder options>view> then select "show hidden files and folders", then UNcheck "hide protected operating system files " also UNcheck "hide extensions for known file types" click apply to all folders, apply then ok

navigate to the C:\WINDOWS folder, sort by name or date modified at the top look for each of these .exe and delete them if possible: if you dont see one, dont worry about it

C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\syn00-A0-CC-E0-BF-46\system\1a.exe
C:\WINDOWS\upxdnd.exe
C:\WINDOWS\WSockDrv32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\DbgHlp32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\AVPSrv.exE
C:\WINDOWS\LotusHlp.exe
C:\WINDOWS\PTSShell.exe

while you are in safe mode do this;
using explorer(right click on start>explore) drill down to these you want to delete whats >inside< the folder, not the folder itself.

C:\Windows\Temp\

C:\Documents and Settings\-Your Profile-\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\ (will dump all your cached internet content including cookies)

C:\Documents and Settings\-Your Profile-\Local Settings\Temp\

C:\Documents and Settings\-Any other users Profile-\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\

C:\Documents and Settings\-Any other users Profile-\Local Settings\Temp\

last:
Empty your Temp folders. Go to Start > Run and type:cleanmgr. Windows will scan. When done check these 3 and press *ok* to remove:

Temporary Files
Temporary Internet Files
Recycle Bin
——————————————-
reboot normally. I dont see a resident antivirus app on your computer, or a anti-malware app. unless you practice really safe hex you need them

first stop:
get avg free (antivirus free 7.5)install, update and scan with it:
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/

2nd stop:
download install, update and scan with superantispyware free version:
http://www.superantispyware.com/

after all the above, rescan and post a new hjt log.

so 2 issues here, i can no longer open contents of my c drive, i cant view the internet on that pc anymore, and my HD is acting weird, i started yesterday with 120 gigs of space, after this all happened it said i had 24 gigs of space, after that it went to 39, then went to 14, now its back to 107 gigs of free space and i have no idea of the cause, almost tempted to reformat unless you know why i cant view c drive
hi,

so 2 issues here

those should be the least of your worries, you had trojans on your computer.
malware removal comes first.

you know why i cant view c drive

have no idea really, malware can do some damage.

almost tempted to reformat

may not be a bad idea

if you chose to continue without reformatting rescan and post another hjt log.
before i attempt to reformat again ill continue on with your help

heres the superantispyware thing

hi, ok good the last hjt log looks ok so does the SAS log except whats in system restore which we can clean out as a last step. and you got antivirus also. others: you cant get on the internet anymore from this computer? can you open the c: drive using explorer from the start menu? or double clicking the icon from my computer icon on desktop
hi LoKo,

ok good. if all is well. couple of things;

make a new restore point. the why and the how:

One of the features of Windows ME or XP is the System Restore option, however if a malware infects a computer with this operating system it can be backed up in the System Restore folder. Therefore, clearing the restore points is a good idea after malware is removed.

To reset your restore points, please note that you will need to log into your computer with an account which has full administrator access. You will know if the account has administrator access because you will be able to see the System Restore tab. If the tab is missing, you are logged in under a limited account.

(winXP)

1. Turn off System Restore. (deletes old possibly infected restore point)
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

2. Reboot.

3. Turn ON System Restore.(new restore points on a clean system)
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK, then reboot

keep your antivirus and antimalware up to date.
careful what you chose to download and install via bitcomet, plenty of malware on the p2p networks.
i have some info about p2p on my website here:

happy safe surfing.
