Hello hkg and welcome to the What the Tech Forums

My name is Trevuren and I will be helping you with your problem.

Please provide a list of uninstallable programs.

To Provide a List of Installed Programs
  • Run HijackThis.
  • Click Config>>Miscellaneous Tools>>Open Uninstall Manager>>Save List
  • Save list to Desktop
  • Copy the Notepad list and Paste it into this thread.
Hi. On the step 2 below, when I clicked on Save List the HijackThis program closed so I was not able to do a cut and paste. I am sure I am missing a simple step so if you can let me know what I am missing I can complete this step. In the meantime I have compiled the programs in my computer via screen shots and put them on a PPT which is attached. Thanks in advance for the help. HKG. To Provide a List of Installed Programs 1. Run HijackThis. 2. Click Config>>Miscellaneous Tools>>Open Uninstall Manager>>Save List 3. Save list to Desktop 4. Copy the Notepad list and Paste it into this thread.
Please Download NoLop to your desktop from one of the links below…
Link 1
Link 2
Link 3
  • First close any other programs you have running as this will require a reboot
  • Double click NoLop.exe to run it
    • Now click the button labeled "Search and Destroy"
<<your computer will now be scanned for infected files>>
    • When scanning is finished you will be prompted to reboot only if infected, Click OK
    • Now click the "REBOOT" Button.
    • A Message should popup from NoLop. If not, double click the program again and it will finish Please Post the contents of C:\NoLop.log along with a fresh HijackThis log
–If you receive an error, "mscomctl.ocx or one of its dependencies are not correctly registered," please download mscomctl.ocx to your system32 folder then rerun the program. –
