Hi there!

I am using a Fujitsu S2020 and the Anti-Virus I am currently using is NOD32. One week ago my laptop was crippled by what seems to be a multiple trojan infection. The extent of the damage caused resulted in my USB ports and speakers not functioning.
Anyway, I reformatted my laptop but the files previously stored in my C drive are still there. Does this mean that the malware could still be in my laptop? I scanned my laptop using HijackThis and this is the log file generated:

Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2

hi mojo jojo,

I reformatted my laptop but the files previously stored in my C drive are still there

you reformatted your C: drive.? You did a clean reinstall, (reformatt/reinstall) of windows– which would wipe your hard drive and anything on it.

start HJT, click the "Scan" button. check the items below, close any open windows, then click "Fixed checked"

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [amva] C:\WINDOWS\system32\amvo.exe

you have a antivirus app, but i dont see a antimalware app. you really need both as they scan for different threats, although some overlap better than others.
i would get one of these below, install update and do a full scan:
