Hi, I ran the superanti spyware software and deleted a whole bunch of viruses. I still get a popup that says "your computer is infected! It is recommended to use special antispyware tools to prevent data loss" Here is my superanti spyware log and my hijack this log:

hi,

i dont know what happened to ourwilly. your log looks ok as far as malware goes. Viewpoint is foistware, most likely installed as a third party add on. it can be removed via the add/remove programs panel. up to you if you want to remove it

see links:
http://www.viewpoint.com/installer/v4/html/vmp_faq.html

http://www.pchell.com/support/viewpoint.shtml

to remove:
Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove the following programs if present.

Viewpoint
Viewpoint Manager
Viewpoint Media Player
—————————–
see if you can find and delete these two items:
C:\PROGRAM FILES\ONLINE ADD-ON\ICMNTR.EXE
C:\PROGRAM FILES\ONLINE ADD-ON\ISFMM.EXE

shelf life
Hi Shelf Life, I went ahead and removed Viewpoint Media Player, that was the only on that was listed in my "add/remove" programs. I searched for the two files you asked me to remove, but could not find them. The online-add on folder was completely empty. Meanwhile, I am still getting that "your computer is infected popup" in the right hand corner of my screen. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!
hi,

still getting the popups? lets try malwarebytes first. see if things improve:

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop:

http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
