my computer has been freezing up on me and the only way to recover is to power it down and then power it up again. i downloaded and ran AVG internet security 7.5 and it said that i had worm.bobic.cx infecting my system restore archives. i left the files in the virus vault. i ran AVG again 3 more times each with the same result. i then uninstalled AVG and installed McAffee. i have tried to run a virus scan of my system, but before the scan has a chance to complete the computer freezes. i have noticed that during the scans it finds at least 17 infections, but the scan never gets the chance to finish and quarantine what it finds.

here is my hijackthis logfile:

Hello and Welcome to the Forum.

Please delete any HijackThis Folders and Files you have now.

There's a new version of HijackThis.

Click the "Save" button.

Please put your HijackThis in it's own folder, (I create a new folder in C:\ named HJT).
You can do a Right Click on any open area on the desktop, New> Folder, then rename the folder HJT.

Open HijackThis and select: Do a system scan and save a log file.

When the scan is finished, Click Edit> Select All> Edit> Copy> and paste its contents here [Add Reply].
