Hello Haider,

I suggest you may like to run a PCPitstop test as follows:

http://www.pcpitstop.com
Register and create a password
Accept the ActiveX component to allow your machine to run the Full Tests
Registering and accepting the ActiveX are both SAFE and FREE.
Full Tests is the first item in the left hand column of that page.

The Full Tests take less than 5 minutes for most machines.
Once you have your Results, please post the TechExpress Link back here into this thread for review.
TechExpress is the last item on the list in the yellow box in upper right area of any Results page.
Post the entire URL link information back here into this Forum thread.

Caution: During the testing of Video Adapter, a variety of patterns, shapes, colors and text are "flashed" onto the users monitor screen. In the many thousands of daily uses of the PCPitstop Full Tests over several years, two individuals who suffer epilepsy experienced discomfort and temporary dizziness when viewing the flashing patterns.
If you know that you are susceptible to photo driven seizure, look away from your screen during the Video Adapter testing sequence.

kind regards,
thnks tallin im running the scan now…. by the way my pc now does a scan disk on drive e: which it never did before. (it still scans drive d: )
Hello Haider,

Well as your scan shows we have a lot of work to do here.

Please go through all the Customised Tuneup Tips by clicking on each one and following the advice given for each.

As you can see your C:\ Drive is almost full and will be impossible to tidy up unless you go to Add and Remove and uninstall all the old software and anything you do not need or use these days. Perhaps you could also transfer some of the data on C to one or two of the other drives if you value it and do not want to uninstall or delete.

Also I suggest you go to your My Documents Folder and delete all files not needed. It would be impossible for you to defrag you C:\Drive with it in the condition it currently is showing. There needs to be at least a quarter to half of all drives free for a successful defragmentation.

Most of the tips are easy to do if you follow the instructions given.

Please post back with an updated PCPitstop scan when you have completed the above suggestions and tips.

Regarding the "Update Outdated Device Drivers" ….at this stage do not worry about doing that if you are not having problems with drivers on your computer.

kind regards,
i would delete the stuff but my pc has multiple acounts and i asked the other user to delete some stuff he goes hez got nothing extra as its all songs , videos and movies….. :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( so wot do i do??? the main problem is the scandisk problem….
Hello Haider,

Please try to proceed to take the steps in the Customised Tech Tips advised in your PCPitstop test. In so doing, we are working towards your scan disk problem as I have other suggestions for you when you have taken the advice of the pit test.

We have to proceed slowly and thoroughly here. I understand about the videos, movies and songs, but at this stage I say with great respect, it is your choice as to whether you want the computer corrected and running smoothly.

So your friend does not feel too badly about perhaps transferring all the songs, videos and movies onto one or other of the existing drives, I had to do it so I could get my HD running up to form recently.

I will leave it with you to execute those tips from the pit test. Please post back after you have progressed along the track and we can then proceed to the next step.

There is lots to do and I am only too willing to help you if you take the advice offered.

kind regards,
ive taken ur advice and started to do tune my pc…. it told me to run a program (pc pitstop optimizer 2.0) i did it and it found some errors or something and to repair it you have to buy the full version…. isn't there another way
Hello haider,

I did not mean you to run those scans (they are advertisements)

Please just follow in the Customized Tech Tips, the advice suggested after clicking on each tip noted in your Test Results Summary. It gives specific advice how to correct each problem so just follow the text written please.

Please post back if you have further questions.

good luck,
ok…. i hve done some of the customisation tip[ but i don't know how to update my drivers. ive searched on the interenet which does a free scan but after that it says to purchase a premium account to do the updates…. u know any free ways of doing it???
Hello haider, Please, for the time being ignore the Driver Device Updates. That is not important at this time, particularly if you are not having any issues with drivers. You are doing fine, just follow all the other Customised Computer Tips. :D kind regards,
my wireless card had stoped working and its dissapeared from the device manager…. its called RT2500 USB WIRELESS LAN CARD made by ralink….i think it just happened now ….don't know how any solutions??
Haider, Sorry for your continuing problems here I have requested a Moderator to come by here to assist you. However at the moment they are busy so please be patient. In the meantime your C:\Drive cannot be defragged correctly as it has little space to do a satisfactory job. You would need to clear some of the data onto your other Drives for a successful defragmentation of C:\Drive. Best regards,
Hi Haider The problem with scandisk ( I believe its called CHKDSK in XP) does that still exist? Regarding your Wireless, don't you have a CD with a driver on it?? Kind Regards Abydos
