Hello! I`ve been trying everything for 4 days, and can't seem to get rid of this virus. Here's what it does: - Keeps me from opening or installing HijackThis; tried renaming it to tempfile.exe, to no avail. - Redirected me to Monstermarketplace.com and Upspiral.com - Keeps me from accessing some security website (e.g. symantec.com, spybot.com and others); - Closes browsers (IE7 or Firefox) when certain keywords are detected in Google; - Not detected by Norton Internet Security 2008, TrojanHunter 5.0, Ad-Aware, TrendMicro or PandaScan. (gulp). Here's what I did: - Ran full scans of above mentioned anti-virus apps. - Ran CWShredder and CCleaner. - Ran ComboFix. That seem to have rid me of redirection, though I'm not sure. - Ran FixWareout. - Am running SDFix now. - I was able (for a *completely* unknown reason) to run HijackThis once, but the log is now old - some things have been removed. - My winlogon features a .DLL named DAVID.DLL. That's my username, but I found that to be somehow weird, as the file cannot be accessed by SDFix. I really want to get rid of this today, I have a lot of work to do and this is driving me crazy! Please help. I will collaborate hastily! :)
