I GOT THE NIC CARD WORKING (but just long enough to recive 10 emails on your forum post) in the Sys Config Utility under the Services Tab I deselected True Vector Zone alarm which was uninstalled then when i went to Normal startup it blocked it again
I'm back in the game?

had to delete a ZoneAlarm folder in Sys32, it wanted to srescan
had to do it in safe mode

using O4 - Global Startup: Run Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector Registration Tool.lnk = C:\Program Files\WiFiConnector\NintendoWFCReg.exe for Wii (Nintendo) has Inet capabilities, and Nintendo DS internet browser works for approx 4 minutes then goes dead, need to reboot to restablish same with email Router works fine with Wii and work laptop Hardware includes NetGear Router with Cable Modem PC boots fast , some program startup is slow
I would try re-installing the NIC, update drivers if available. Does an ICON by the clock on the taskbar pop-up when the connection drops? When my pc started doing that I replaced the NIC and all was well after that.
you know I need to say that the problem might be with internet explorer when it quits working, outlook express email still works, as does ping yahoo.com with a cmd prompt what do you suggest I did not receive software cds with this dell machine would I id the hardware, download drivers, uninstall re-install??? lmk what you suggest
