Please help me!

My computer seems to be infected with a Virtumonde trojan. I used Spyware Doctor to remove it but I have had no success. Whenever I open a IE browser, the Spyware Doctor warned me that it blocked the browser access the path C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SSTTQ.DLL.

I also used the Vundofix v6.6.1 but the tool did not detect any malicious file.

I appreciate any help.

Here is my log from HijackThis:

Have you put these sites in the Trusted Zone yourself?

Step 1

Please download Combofix:

Double-click on combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When finished, it will produce a log for you. Save it to a convenient location.

Note: Do not mouseclick Combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.

Step 2

Open HijackThis.

  • Click on the Config button.
  • Click on the Misc Tools button.
  • Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.
  • Click on the Save list… button and save the file to a convenient location. When you press Save, Notepad will open with the contents of that file.

Step 3

In your next reply, please post:

  • whether or not you've put those sites in the Trusted Zone
  • the Combofix log (C:\Combofix.txt)
  • the Uninstall List (uninstall_list.txt)
  • a new HijackThis log
