I'm running Windows XP, SP2, with all current Windows security patches applied. I'm also running AVG antivirus & firewall that is up to date. Still, every few days (no pattern to it) AVG detects spyware. I'm not 100% sure that it is properly cleaning up when it finds a threat.

AVG is also reporting that kernel32.dll, user32.dll, shell32.dll, ntoskrnl.exe, and \etc\hosts have changed.

I'd really appreciate someone taking a look to see if there's something there I need to fix.
