RegSVR32.exe - DLL initialization failed

Whenever I shut down my computer I get this error message:

RegSVR32.exe - DLL initialization failed

The application failed to initialize because the windows station is shutting down.



I believe it was caused by some spyware fixes I have done that you can see here:

Any ideas as to what the problem is?

From the following forum post, it looks to be the Orb software you have installed:
Orb Community - regsvr32.exe error just before shut down

Try uninstalling or reinstalling the Orb software and see if that helps.

You may also want to do the same for the "Slawdog Smart Shutdown", not sure if that's a problem, but it's worth a try as it is a shutdown utility.

Please post your system status after completing these items.

The error is gone after I uninstalled Orb. I have to check if it will be completely gone after I re-install it though. Thank you.

Glad to hear, looks like that was the issue after all. If it happens again after the reinstall, there isn't much we can do to mend it, as it is an issue with the software maker.
