Hello,My notebook has been effected by likely spyware/malware from htepo.com
I actually see 2 links on my desk top "ONLINE SECURITY GUIDE" and "LIFE SAFETY CENTER" in porperties both of them show target as htepo.com.
With this spyware/virus everytime i use IE it opens up popups to various sites plus it was giving me messages with yellow balloons like markers saying my system is running slow and bla bla.so this is what's going on with my notebbok.
antispywares/antiviruses I have tried but of no use so far spybot,Mcafee, adware, smithfraus, kaspersky and including PANDA all unsuccesful.
PLease advise and help.Thankyou.in sequence logs are from Panda,AVG anitspyware and Hijack this,if any of these could help.

Howdy chairmanmd,

Welcome to WTT. Infection is showing here in different stages of removal. I would like to recommend not just applying any of the specialty tools seen provided in these forums without specific knowledge of the outcome of that use. Let's see about repairing all this now.

Be sure to temporarily disable all other protective software when doing these next steps.

Close Internet Explorer and all running programs and run a scan in HijackThis. Place a check next to all of the following lines, then select “Fix Checked” and close HijackThis.

Then Download ComboFix.exe from here to your desktop, and click the downloaded file to run the repair.

When the command window opens, select 1 (and Enter). Allow the scan to run. When completed a text window will appear - please copy/paste the contents back here. This log can also be found at C:\ComboFix.txt.

A caution - do not touch your mouse/keyboard until the scan has completed. The scan will temporarily disable your desktop, and if interrupted may leave your desktop disabled. If this occurs, please reboot to restore the desktop.

Post back tthat combofix.txt log along with a new HijackThis log please.
Hello malware team, Thankyou for your attetnion to this problem.Since I have already got a reply from another forum(in respsonse to my earlier post),to avoid any confusio I would follow up with that forum's advise. This is also to save your time which you could avail to help other members.I really appreciate your help so far and would seek it again if needed, with your permmission.Thanks.
Avoid "any more" confusion chairmanmd, as I see now you have posted this same request at at least 4 different forums, causing extra work for quite a few. Be sure to go to all the different forum threads you posted and let all of those good folks know so their time will not be wasted. I will close this thread now.
