Click here to download and install Registrar Lite. Install, run, copy and paste this line to reglite's address bar:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\\AppInit_DLLs

and hit the "go" tab. Find: "Appinit_Dlls" value on the right side panel, DoubleClick, copy and post here the information in the 'Value' field.

INFECTED FILE IS C:\WINDOWS\System32\MsSvc16\WinSvc32.exe SHOULD I DELETE THE FILE IT IS AN IRC BACKDOORBOT

Could you go here and run online scans (all), allow them to delete whatever they find:

TrendMicro HouseCall
eTrust AntiVirus Web Scanner
Panda ActiveScan

Reboot when done. Then post the information I requested.

Create a new folder called C:\HijackThis, move the HijackThis.exe file into the new folder and run it from there. This is necessary to ensure you have backups should anything go wrong and avoids them cluttering up your desktop.

Make sure that you have no browser windows open as this could prevent the fix from working properly. Open HijackThis, scan and when complete, remove the following entries by checking the box to the left and clicking 'fixed checked':

Click here, for instructions on how to enable hidden files and folders to be visible. After enabling, reboot into safe mode by tapping F8 after the BIOS has loaded, find and delete the following:

Reboot back into normal mode, rescan with HJT and post a new log here for a final check over.

Let's try a different approach. Click here to download TheKillbox by Option^Explicit. You need to go offline for this next bit, so print this page.

Extract TheKillbox from the zip file then double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. In the 'Paste Full Path of File to Delete' box, copy and paste this entry:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\MsSvc16\WinSvc32.exe

Don't click any of the buttons though, instead please click on the Action menu and choose "Delete on Reboot". In the window that opens up, click on the File menu and choose "Add File". The C:\WINDOWS\System32\MsSvc16\WinSvc32.exe listing should show up in the window. If that's successful, in the same window choose the Action menu and select "Process and Reboot". You'll be prompted to reboot, do so.

Open HijackThis, scan and when complete, remove the following entries by checking the box to the left and clicking 'fixed checked':

O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [WinSvc32.exe] C:\WINDOWS\System32\MsSvc16\WinSvc32.exe
O4 - Global Startup: WinSvc32.exe
O4 - Global User Startup: WinSvc32.exe

Reboot, rescan with HJT and post a new log.

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then go offline and try TheKillbox again.
