Double-click My Computer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
Click the View tab. Clear "Hide file extensions for known file types."
Under the "Hidden files" folder, select "Show hidden files and folders." Clear "Hide protected operating system files."
Click Apply, and then click OK.
Please do not delete anything unless instructed to.
It is important to note that you should only have one firewall installed at a time, but you can download to your Desktop and install each in turn to see which one you prefer.
Combofix still causes my PC to restart.

After you are clean, you need to create new passwords.
Run hijackthis. Hit None of the above, Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a checkmark/tick in the box on the left side on these:
O2 - BHO: Flash Module - {C8A3B994-E27A-42f5-A053-C63799E621FB} - paruisd.dll (file missing)
Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"
Searce for and Delete this File if listed: paruisd.dll
Reboot and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis log file into this thread.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
The file wasn't found on HijackThis but the same flash BHO was found, so I fixed/repaired that.

I've noticed that sometimes (quite a lot) when i start my PC, I need to close svchost.exe (local service) for internet explorer to actually load in a reasonable time, You can greatly notice the difference in speed with both my PC + Internet when I close this process.
Is it a virus thats disquising itself as a genuine windows file?

Hey, I did the scan finnaly, it found over 9000 (nine thousand!!!!) viruses, but when it FINNALY got onto repairing them, it popped up with warnign (somethign about memory, not having enough i think) and said to close it and retry…4hours scanning lost!
