[Resolved] PartyPoker etc pop up removal help needed

Hi,

I get these annoying popups (PartyPoker, OnlineCasino etc.) when using windows internet explorer.
Help for removing these addons needed.

Ok,

Removed all the programs mentioned above. No problems removing them.

In addition removed Nero 7, and some other ununsed software.

With McAfee I have problem,
In McA security center it's stated that "Part of your protection must be fixed. Click FIX now" -> fix.
After clickin FIX, there is a error: " One or more problems cannot be fixed beacause of an error"

Manualy fixing is equal problematic. On Computer & Files Configuration, is stated Virus protection disabled
After checking On, error message "The settings cannot be changed because of an error"
This software is licenced& registred.

I uninstalled and reinstalled McAfee, but still same problem.
I wonder what is wrong whit this?

The folders you mentioned, there was neither of them (Burn4Free toolbar or 2VG) in my system.

Hi Silver,

Did all the above operations without any problems except McAfee.
setup[1].exe was not there (in C:\Documents and Settings\Olli\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\ELGB61I5) so I coudn't remove it.

The computer runs a lot faster when exploring files. Also startup is really fast now
It looks like the pop ups are gone. Did a 15min surf with internet explorer and zero pop ups

McA virtual techinician stated following: "virtual tech cannot check your computer
cannot find mca products on your system etc.."

Removal using McA unnistal software I have done one time and it did not fix the problems - didn't run it this time again.
