So, I had some bad luck with the Acronis partition management. It screwed my D partition with 35gigs of data for almost 4 years. I've managed to save the data with some data rescue programs, but with a price. I've downloaded a few recovery apps from emule and one of them was a trojan i guess.

The problem is, that avast did not detect the file (and it usually does, before i even open the rar) and even when i manually scanned the item.. it showed nothing.

The symptoms were immediate. Windows defender was shut down, so was Avast, spybot, adaware and such software. They were partially deleted. A few files remain, but there are no exe files to run the apps again. It shuted down a lot of services too.

I ran some online scans with bitdefender and trendmicro, tried the MS removal tool, spybot in safe mode and other things like that. I also did a scan with kaspersky online which gave me a clue what it was.. It appeared to be Bagle.CV. The funny thing is, none of the other online scanners did not detect the files in Windows/exefld.

Anyway, the pc should be clean, but i doubt it. If i install Avast over again and reboot, vista doesn't boot up. It gets stuck at Welcome screen and the animated circle next to it keeps spining. that's it..

Anyway, the trojan or virus managed to screw up things big time. I have a lot of partially deleted apps and can't uninstall it. I am going to try another antivir software… Can you recommend me something?

Anyway, im stuck and i'm online without an antivir.. I am posting a hijackthis log if it helps..

Okay, nothing new. I can't install anything when running vista normally - the trojan keeps deleting everything i install. If i install spybot, it deletes the exe files immediatly.

If i try installing kaspersky antivir, it says that i don't have rights to write to the folder specified (program files/kaspersky). So, it block anything connected with trojan or antivir removal.

If i try to install the antivir in safe mode.. I can't, because the windows installer doesn't work in safe mode.. I dont know what the hell to do..
