Thank You for help !
A. Please disable Spywareguard.

Double-click the red SG icon in your system tray.
Click Options.
Under General Uncheck all 3 options, then click "Save Settings"
Close Spywareguard.

B. Please copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order in which they are mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.
  • Please disable AVG AntiSpyware by opening the program and on the Status page - beside "Resident Shield" click on "change status" so that it says "inactive" for it may interfere with our HJT fix.
    • Remember to reactivate this feature when all our work is finished.

  • Please RUN HijackThis

    1. Click the SCAN button to produce a log.

    2. Place a check mark beside each one of the following items:

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {A4C195D4-02E2-4D10-A804-4BDC163B34AE} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\oppqr.dll (file missing)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [msccccrt] C:\WINDOWS\msccccrt.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [mpwe] C:\WINDOWS\mpwe.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [q5tckiu0d8b] C:\WINDOWS\iexpl0re.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [vh80iibrjexs] C:\WINDOWS\winlog0a.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Ipse] "C:\DOCUME~1\SHERRA~1\MYDOCU~1\CROSOF~1.NET\iexplore.exe" -vt yazb
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Xpczl] "C:\Documents and Settings\Sherra Li\Application Data\s?stem32\n?tepad.exe"
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: cbxwwuv - cbxwwuv.dll (file missing)
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: oppqr - C:\WINDOWS\system32\oppqr.dll (file missing)
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: tuvtsts - tuvtsts.dll (file missing)

    3. Now with all the items selected, and all windows closed except for HJT, delete them by clicking the FIX checked button. Close the HijackThis window.

  • Now to Remove some malware:

    1. Please open Notepad
    • Click Start , then Run
    • Type notepad .exe in the Run Box.
    2. Now copy/paste the entire content of the code box below into the Notepad window:

    File::
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\9.exe

    Driver::
    ip139

    Registry::
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\SharedTaskScheduler]
    "{4DEC9B29-F08F-4cbc-B179-592B9283FAB0}"=-

    [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{31F612A3-3223-3313-3123-31161A31A125}]
    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CLASSES\CLSID\{31F612A3-3223-3313-3123-31161A31A125}]

    3. Save the above as CFScript.txt

    4. Then drag the CFScript.txt into ComboFix.exe as depicted in the animation below. This will start ComboFix again.

Also my symantec antivirus is finding some trojan vundo wif the autoprotect. Thanks again
Your logs are looking pretty good now. Symantec is probably picking up a quarantined item. All the quarantines will be cleaned out in the final cleanup procedures. Now, it is time to really check out your entire system for malware stragglers:

Please use the Internet Explorer browser, and do an online scan with Kaspersky Online Scanner
Click Yes, when prompted to install its ActiveX component.
(Note.. for Internet Explorer 7 users: If at any time you have trouble with the "Accept" button of the license, click on the "Zoom" tool located at the bottom right of the IE window and set the zoom to 75 %. Once the license has been accepted, reset to 100%.)
The program launches and downloads the latest definition files.
  • Once the files are downloaded click on Next
  • Click on Scan Settings and configure as follows:
    • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
      • Extended
    • Scan Options:Scan Archives
      Scan Mail Bases
  • Click OK and, under select a target to scan, select My Computer
When the scan is done, in the Scan is completed window (below), any infection is displayed.
There is no option to clean/disinfect, however, we need to analyze the information on the report.
[external image: Posted Image]
[external image: Posted Image]
To obtain the report:
Click on: Save Report As (above - red blinking arrow)
Next, in the Save as prompt, Save in area, select: Desktop
In the File name area, use KScan, or something similar
In Save as type, click the drop arrow and select: Text file [*.txt]
Then, click: Save
Please post the Kaspersky Online Scanner Report in your reply, along with a fresh HijackThis log
Hi sorry for the delay but here is the logs.

Thank You
Sorry for the delay in responding. Believe it or not, I had the reply ready to post and as I was posting, my internet went on strike and remained like that until this AM. So here goes again. Boy I wish I had had timw to copy it before all heck broke loose.

Most of the files tagged by Kaspersky are contained in your Norton Quarantine or your System Restore Cache. The ones in the System Restore are harmless and we will be taking care of them during the final cleanup procedures.

However, Kaspersky did pick up two files that it is flagging as malware. These files are usually legit files so we had better use caution and get a second opinion before doing any deletions for they are responsible for running two of your programs.

A. There is a file in your log of which I am unsure. For that reason, I need you to submit it to Jotti's for analysis.

1. Click HERE to get to Jotti's site.

2. At the top of the Jotti window, use the Browse button to locate the following file on your system:

C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe

3. Once you have located the file, click SUBMIT and the content of the file will be uploaded by the site and analysed.

4. Please provide me with the results of the analysis.

5. Now, please perform the same procedure with the following file:

C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe

B. Next, please empty the content of your Symantec/Norton AntiVirus Quarantine:

If you are unfamiliar with this procedure, click on the following Symantec

C. Finally, it is IMPORTANT that the following be done:

Your Java is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system. A malicious site could render Java content under older, vulnerable versions of Sun's software if the user has not removed them. Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update:
  • Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 2 and save it to your desktop.
  • Scroll down to where it says "Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6u2…allows end-users to run Java applications".
  • Click the "Download" button to the right.
  • Read the License Agreement and then check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
  • The page will refresh.
  • Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation and save the file to your desktop.
  • Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
  • Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel, double-click on and remove all older versions of Java.
  • Check (highlight) any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
  • Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
  • Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.
  • Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
  • Then from your desktop double-click on jre-6u2-windows-i586-p.exe to install the newest version.
Now to Clean out the Java cache:

Go into the Control Panel and double-click the Java Icon.
  • Under Temporary Internet Files, click the Delete Files button.
  • There are three options in the window to clear the cache - Leave ALL 3 Checked
    • Downloaded Applets
      Downloaded Applications
      Other Files
  • Click OK on Delete Temporary Files Window
Note: This deletes ALL the Downloaded Applications and Applets from the CACHE.
  • Click OK to leave the Java Control Panel.

D. When you post the results from the two Jotti scans, please tell me how your system is running, if all is OK, and I get your OK, I will start with the final but essential cleanup procedures and the recommendations.

Regards,

VBA32 Found Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Agent.awf

This is a bad one. Extensive repairs to your system will be required. It changes all the real files with substitutes that do not work. That could possibly be the problem that you are encountering. Down to work!!.

Please download FindAWF to your Desktop.
  • Double-click FindAWF.exe to start the tool.
  • Select option #1 - Scan for bak folders by typing 1 and press 'Enter'
  • When the tool has completed, a report will open up in notepad. Please post the results of the awf.txt here.
**Do not run any other option unless directed to do so.**

A sigh of relief. It isn't as bad as I had first thought. Apparently, the infector must have been removed early on by a scanner so that it did not get a chance to ravage your entire system.

Double-click FindAWF.exe to start the tool.
  • Select option #2 - Restore files from bak folders by typing 2 and press 'Enter'
  • A text file will open up. Please copy/paste the following bolded text into the text file:

    • "C:\Program Files\iTunes\bak\iTunesHelper.exe"
      "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\bak\qttask.exe"
      "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_03\bin\bak\jusched.exe"

  • Close the .txt file and click 'Yes' to save the changes.
  • When the tool has completed, a report will open up in notepad. Please post the results of the awf.txt here.

Note: The ("") Quote marks are essential.
