Hello,
I have a Compaq Presario, 748 MB RAM, 2.5 Celeron processor. Not sure if anything else is salient here. I have deleted all my cookies, temp files, history, and so on, and do every week or so. I have defragmented (today) the hard drive. My browser in particular is just running slowly - everything has started taking longer - pages load slowly, programs start slowly and hang up, etc.

Here's my log - any help is appreciated (or let me know if more info is needed) - Thanks!

A few hours after posting the above, my computer crashed (I guess). I came home to find a blue screen with the error message "An error has been detected. Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. If this is the first time you are seeing this message, restart your computer." (Which I did. Turned it back on, got the same error message during startup.) The message continued, something like, "(If restart didn't fix the error) uninstall any anti-virus, debugging defragmentation or other backup utilities and reinstall them…" I don't remember all of it because I'm on a borrowed computer now. I spent 2 hours with HP tech support (for $50) but they couldn't fix it by phone. They recommended that I recover data somewhere then do a system recovery. So, I'm having the data recovery attempted and guess I'll do system restore or whatever after they're done. Anyone have any insight, or even seen this error? Help me out if you can. Looks like I'm buying a new one today. Thanks
