Hi lizzyr13,
I was able to access your fresh Pit Test via update to your prior link.
But we'll still need the specific information about applications that are non-responsive in order to assist with them.
Looks like you completed most of the recommendations with very good effect!
Notice that you greatly reduced your CPU resting load.
Notice that your Video Adapter processing nearly "doubled"! from 66 mp/s to 111 mp/s
Both your CPU and RAM scores are now strong.
*** Did you check your Laptop's Battery serial number against the Recall List?
You still need to
Defrag that Hard Drive.
You "may" have a smoother and more brisk experience on the Internet with that machine, if you:
Roll back to IE 6.0
or
Update your Firefox and use it for most of your browsing.
(Uninstall old version of Firefox completely, then download and install current version of Firefox)
You should update your JAVE JRE (not too badly outdated, but needs update anyway)
Updating Java:
• Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 2.
• Scroll down to where it says "Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 2 allows end-users to run Java applications".
• Click the "Download" button to the right.
• Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
• The page will refresh.
• Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
• Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
• Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
• Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
• Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
• Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.
• Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
• Then from your desktop double-click on jre-6u2-windows-i586-p.exe to install the newest version

Your machine may run better if you replace the resource hogging Adobe Reader with the equally good
Foxit download, that has a much smaller footprint on the user's machine.
Keep us posted with your progress.
