[Closed]Winlogon Application Error

When I start up the computer I get a message about a winlogon.exe application error and then the computer restarts and works fine after that.
I also seem to get a high # of malware and spyware hits with very little surfing when I run F-secure. Please check this log for anything that could me problems. Thanks KRRII

I would just like to ask about the copy of windows that is installed on this system, and to please explain this entry in your HijackThis log. O20 - Winlogon Notify: Antiwpa - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\antiwpa.dll Do you have a cracked copy of windows?

The answer to your question is I do not know. I had this computer build last August and the operating system was on it when I recieved it.

Run hijackthis. Hit None of the above, Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a Check in the box on the left side on these:

O20 - Winlogon Notify: Antiwpa - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\antiwpa.dll

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"


Delete these Files if listed:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\antiwpa.dll


Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner»
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time or two.


Reboot and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis log file into this thread.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
