Hi,

I am attaching a HijackThis log. I have been trying to remove this:

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{DA4E8851-A39D-403D-B4A7-F16C3E98C4E4}: NameServer = 194.90.1.5 212.143.212.143

Although I've used HijackThis, CWShredder, AdAware, SpyBot and AVG
it keeps returning.

This line:

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{DA4E8851-A39D-403D-B4A7-F16C3E98C4E4}: NameServer = 194.90.1.5 212.143.212.143

Goes hand in hand with
O4 - Startup: Netvision Cable Connect.url

whom I assume is your internet service provider.

No reason to try and remove that line.

I just want to make sure you know this program is onboard:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\lvhidsvc.exe

it is also running as a service (023 line)
and does not appear to be malware, here is what CastleCops has to say: http://castlecops.com/o23list-1143.html

I will await your response.
Your right about the internet provider, but viewing previous logs that I save from time to time there is no mentioning of:

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{DA4E8851-A39D-403D-B4A7-F16C3E98C4E4}: NameServer = 194.90.1.5 212.143.212.143

Why has it suddenly appeared?

How do I remove this program?

C:\WINDOWS\system32\lvhidsvc.exe

Why has it suddenly appeared?

Could be any number of reasons.

Could be the newer version of HJT your using from trend micro.

Could be you were offline when doing some of the other scans.

Could be if you changed any internet connection settings in your router/ or within windows.

Simply disable the service. If you think you need it you can turn it back on.

Go to Start " Run " type: Services.msc " OK.
Scroll down and find this service: Remote HID Service
Double-click on it.
Under the General tab, click the Stop button.

Everything seem OK now ?
