[Closed]Pc Infected With Win32: Dizan

Description:
I have no idea how I got infected but I suspect it came from a friend's thumbdrive. I had the free AVG installed and the virus took control of it. I couldn't even update it. I can't open other programs such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Premiere, Windows Media Player and a whole bunch of other programs. I then uninstalled the AVG and installed Avast. It immediately detected the virus and tries to clean it but it seems that the antivirus is no match for this Win32: Dizan. The virus even took control of AdAware, so I downloaded a new one. I also installed Spybot. Both are updated and ran the scan. Hope these details somehow helps. Thank you in advance. Here is my log:

Please turn Word Wrap off in Notepad

If you still need help, Scan again with HijackThis, and copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.

Hi Tate. Thank you for your respond. :wavey:

I have to say that currently my PC is getting worse by the day. Today my wireless network connection keeps disconnecting itself. I'm now using my laptop and have no problem whatsoever with the wireless. Just now when I wanted to restart Windows, it became stuck at the blue screen where it says windows is shutting down. So I just hit the power button. When I want to use a program, say Photoshop, a window pops up trying to locate the file and also said theres a problem with shortcut. Its the same with other programs. Surprisingly, my Microsoft Office works fine. I can also use my browser.

I notice that this virus seems to attack .exe files. My other files like videos, music and my work are ok… thank god..

So this is my new HijackThis log with the Word Wrap turned off. I couldn't update my Avast, Spybot and Ad-Aware now because of the connection, but here is the current one, scanned right after a reboot.

Do you have a thumb drive or memory stick? You can download to your laptop, copy to thumb and install on the infected PC.

Download ComboFix from Here to your Desktop.
  • Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you, combofix.txt. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

Yup, I do have a thumb drive. I downloaded, copied and installed on the PC. But the combofix won't run. There was only a one second flash of window. I rebooted and tried again, still it won't run. I tried it on my laptop, and the combofix works just fine. Oh and the PC network suddenly seems to work so I downloaded a new one direct to the desktop. But still it won't work. :blink:

And it still gives me the window flash again :(

I'm sorry but it really isn't working. I've actually left my computer on the whole day yesterday after running Combofix, but still no log file. I still got this window flash, like the kind you get when there is a pop-up blocker. I also tried checking my task manager to see if its running, but can't find it. I also checked my C:\combofix if it had already saved the logfile there, but no luck. I ran it on my laptop, and I do get all the prompts like their changing my clock settings and finally giving me a logfile. So, I think it must be something wrong with the computer, if it could work on the laptop. I am sorry if this is causing more trouble than it should. :unsure:

I'm wondering if the download was corrupt. Delete the combofix you have now and download it again. If it still doesn't work, we'll try something different.

Download ComboFix from Here to your Desktop.
  • Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you, combofix.txt. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

Hello there!

I did as requested: deleted, download new one, run… but still, the same result. :(

I did some Googling and I found that this person (michael1981) had the same combofix problem as mine. Here is the link:

Oh and I also tried to run it in safe mode but still no luck.

I was desperate to know what the flashing window says, so i printscreen it. :P It was pretty hard and I had to be quick.

Lets try this:

Please click HERE select Save. Save FindAWF to your desktop.

Double Click FindAWF.exe and let it run, it will create the file awf.txt on your desktop when finished.

Open awf.txt in notepad, select Edit> Select All> Edit> Copy> and Paste the contents.

Sorry again for the late reply. I had to go to my sister's place for a few days. So about the fix… I REALLY hate to tell you this, but I don't think its working too. After 'Press any key to continue…' the window just close itself then nothing happens.
