I go by FencerGirl. I would be glad to take a look at your log and help you with solving any malware problems. HijackThis logs can take a while to research.

Please be patient and I'd be grateful if you would note the following:

I will working be on your Malware issues, this may or may not, solve other issues you have with your machine.
The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for this issue on this machine.
Please continue to review my answers until I tell you your machine appears to be clear. Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.

Hi babygrl,
It looks like you have a couple different infections on your computer. Please follow the below steps to see if we can't get you clean.

Step 1: Disable TeaTimer. Some anti-malware programs can interfere with the removal of malware.
For now, please disable Spy-Bot's TeaTimer.
1. Run Spybot-S&D
2. Go to the Mode menu, and make sure "Advanced Mode" is selected
3. On the left hand side, choose Tools -> Resident
4. Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts
5. Restart your computer.

Step 2: Rename HijackThis! Some malware can hide from HijackThis, but if you rename HijackThis, it will show up.

1. Right click on the HijackThis icon.

2. Select Rename.

3. Now type the following scanner.exe note: make sure to put period before .exe when typing.
hit the enter key on keyboard.

Step 3: Download and Run ComboFix. Let's see if we can't get rid of several infections in one go.

Download this file from either of the two below listed places :

Then double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Step 4: Clean with HijackThis!
Scan with HijackThis and check the following if present.

Step 5: Take out the Trash.
Now, browse to the following folders and files and delete them if present.

After you've done all of the above, please post back with your ComboFix log and a new HijackThis log (remember we renamed it scanner.exe).

Hi babygrl,
We've made some progress, but there's still a ways to go.

Step 1: Clean with ComboFix.
Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the code box below into it:

Save this as ComboFix-Do.txt

Then drag the ComboFix-Do.txt into ComboFix.exe as you see in the screenshot below.

This will start ComboFix again. After reboot, (in case it asks to reboot), post the contents of Combofix.txt in your next reply.

Step 2: Upload a File for Analysis.
Please visit Virustotal

Click the Browse… button
Navigate to the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\lfpng13n.dll
Click the Open button
Click the Send button
Repeat for C:\Program Files\MSN Gaming Zone\menoz83122.dll
Copy and paste the results back here please.

Step 3: Remove a Program.
Some parasites can be easily and effectively removed from the Add/Remove Programs applet in the Windows Control Panel.
Please go to Start >> Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs and remove Mirar if present.

Step 4: Clean with HijackThis!
Scan with HijackThis and check the following if present.

You will be promted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky,
Click Yes.

The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
Now click on Scan Settings
In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
- Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
Extended (if available otherwise
Standard)
- Scan Options:
Scan Archives
Scan Mail Bases
Click OK
Now under select a target to scan:Select My Computer
This will program will start and scan your system.
The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been
infected.
- Now click on the Save as Text button:
Save the file to your desktop.
Copy and paste that information in your next post.

After you've done all of the above steps, please post back with your virus total results, the combofix log, the Kaspersky log, and a new HijackThis log.

i can not remove Mirar using the Add/Remove programs. it takes me to the website to remove, i click both remove boxes but i don't get the "next" button to continue removal. also could not find "C:\Program Files\MSN Gaming Zone\menoz83122.dll"

Hi babygrl,
It looks like we're nearly there!

You are running two P2P filesharing programs.

Many of these programs come with unwanted components bundled with them.
If you wish to find out whether the ones you're using do click here.

Please note: Even if you are using a "safe" P2P program, it is only the program that is safe. You will be sharing files from uncertified sources, and these are often infected. The bad guys use P2P filesharing as a major conduit to spread their wares.

My recommendation is you uninstall them.

Now, back to cleaning!
Step 1: Update Java.
Your Java is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system. Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update to the latest version…

Updating Java:

Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6.2.
Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications."
Click the "Download" button to the right.
Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement."
The page will refresh.
Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java version.
Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
Then from your desktop double-click on jre-6u2-windowsi586.exe to install the newest version.

Step 2: Clean with HijackThis!
Scan with HijackThis and check the following if present.

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {a36e8bf1-7e5b-41c8-901b-3e6f730ecaf9} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\dlvrulw.dll (file missing)

CLOSE ALL OTHER WINDOWS and select "Fixed Checked".

Step 3: Take Out the Trash.
Now, browse to the following folders and files and delete them if present.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dlvrulw.dll
C:\Tempc2 <=This Whole Folder!
C:\Windows\system32\driver <=This Whole Folder!

Step 4: Get Rid of Tools we No Longer Need.
Let's clear out the programs we've been using to clean up your computer, they are not suitable for general malware removal and could cause damage if used inappropriately.
Please download OTMoveIt by OldTimer.

Save it to your desktop.
Double click OTMoveIt.exe to launch the program.
Click on the CleanUp! button.
OTMoveIt will download a list from the Internet, if your firewall or other defensive programs alerts you, allow it access.
You will be prompted to allow the clean up procedure, click Yes
When finished exit out of OTMoveIt
Now delete OTMoveIt.exe

After you've completed all of the above steps, please post back with a new HijackThis Log.

Hi babygrl,

okay. i can not locate:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dlvrulw.dll

Don't worry about C:\WINDOWS\system32\dlvrulw.dll, but let's see if we can't find C:\Tempc2.

Step 1: Show Hidden Files.
Be sure that Windows is set to show hidden and system files and folders.
In My Computer, click Tools >> Folder Options >> View, set Hidden files and folder to "Show," and uncheck Hide protected operating system files.

Step 2: Take out the Trash!
Now, browse to the following folders and files and delete them if present.

C:\Tempc2 <=This Whole Folder!

After you've tried this, please let me know if you found it and give me one last HijackThis log.
