Hi MrRam,

If you can give me any examples of how your machine is acting that would be helpful.

I can see in your log that you have a number of good anti-malware programs installed, however I'm not certain whether you have an antivirus program installed and active. It is critical that you always have an antivirus program installed and running on your machine, otherwise you are extremely vulnerable to infection. If you have one installed and running then please let me know the name of the program in your next response. If you have one installed but it is not providing real-time protection, then please activate it.

If you do not have one installed, then you must install one immediately. There are several free packages available, two of the most popular are here:
AVG Antivirus: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1
Antivir: http://www.free-av.com/
Note: If you already have one antivirus program installed, do not install another one.

Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.
http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.exe

Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter
This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options until you are asked to do so!

If the tool fails to launch from the Desktop, please move SmitfraudFix.exe directly to the root of the system drive (usually C: ), and launch from there.

Note: process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user. Further info is available here.

Once complete, please let me know about your antivirus program and post the Smitfraudfix log along with a new HijackThis log.
Hi, Do you still need help with your machine? If the instructions are unclear or something isn't working, please let me know before proceeding.
