This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. When it is done, the results of the scan will be displayed and it will create a log named rapport.txt in the root of your drive, eg: Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with any others I have asked for in your next reply.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user. When prompted by allow it to run

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options until you are asked to do so!

Hi, I have gotten stuck. I have done the following so far 1) Instalked AVG Anti-Spyware 2) Updated to the latest definitions files I have not used it yet. I try to reboot in Safe Mode. I can tap the F8 key and select Safe Mode. Windows window comes up and I can chose between administrator or 'My Account', I chose my account and I subsequently will have to accept one more time to start in Safe Mode instead of last restore point. Once I have done that a black screen appears with 'Safe Mode' in white in each corner and 'Microsoft Windows XP' across the top and a view of the cursorNothing else happens (last 10 minutes). Now the screen has started to blink but still nothing happens. I have carefully followed your instructions so far and rebooted several times. Thank you for your help so far.
Try booting into safe mode as administrator. There will be a slight change in the directions:
