My Computer Is Very Slow!

Hi, My computer is running very slowly. I have checked for viruses using Avast. And have checked for spyware using Spybot S&D. Can anyone recommend something that I can try to help my pc return to how quickly it used to run. Since downloading limewire it started to slow down, then with Zone alram and avast starting when start the computer it takes ages to warm up, then when it has loaded it is still very slow. Please help me.

Download and install "Starters" from this location:
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/starter.html

Run Starters by clicking its Desktop Icon.

While viewing the Startups(tab) display, Select - File - Save as Plain Text
Copy/Paste that saved report, back here into this thread.
