Hi thanks in advance

It seems my google results are infected I'm constantly taken to monstormarketplace etc

and my explorer.exe (I only have one running) is constantly at around 50%

Hi danielgrays

You are running HijackThis from temp folder and it's crucial for backups

Use this link to get HijackThis.
Save it to your desktop and then double-click to run it.
It will install the program in c:\program files\HijackThis.
Browse to that location with windows explorer, and double click on the HijackThis.exe program to run. Choose the 'Do a system scan and save a logfile'
That will allow you to save the log to the desktop (or some other place) and leave open a notepad file with the HijackThis log in it.

Now post your HijackThis log into this topic.

Hi

Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.

Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
Click the Scan for Vundo button.
Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log in a reply to this thread.

Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button" when VundoFix appears upon rebooting.

Close all windows including browser and press fix checked.

Please download the Killbox.
Unzip it to the desktop.

Please run Killbox.

Select "Delete on Reboot" and "All files"

Copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\lcapkorw.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\yurdpcqt.dll
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winzlo32.dll

Go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".

Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try TheKillbox again..

If your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually.

Post a fresh HijackThis log.

Hi

Open HijackThis, click do a system scan only and checkmark this:

O20 - Winlogon Notify: winzlo32 - winzlo32.dll (file missing)

Close all windows including browser and press fix checked

Reboot

Please do an online scan with Kaspersky Online Scanner. You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

The program will launch and then start to download the latest definition files.
Once the scanner is installed and the definitions downloaded, click Next.
Now click on Scan Settings
In the scan settings make sure that the following are selected:

o Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:

+ Extended (If available otherwise Standard)

o Scan Options:

+ Scan Archives
+ Scan Mail Bases
Click OK
Now under select a target to scan select My Computer
The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run. Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
Now click on the Save as Text button
Save the file to your desktop.
Copy and paste that information in your next post.

I did the things you asked except with Quarantine it wasn't where you thought so i just opened
norton internet security went into Norton anti virus, clicked reports clicked view norton quarantine and reports
and i deleted everything in there not sure if this is important just thougt i should tell you

google results still 100% hijacked multiple listings, cached every result takes me to monstermarketplace sestat.com or someguy who helps you sell on ebay or something. I have too highlight google result address and copy and paste it in the address bar and even then those results are highjacked sometimes
