hi ROB1955,

log looks ok. one thing, see if you can find this .dll:

secuload.dll

probably in the system32 dir.

go to this website:
http://virusscan.jotti.org/

click on choose to browse for the .dll again, then submit button to get it checked out. you can copy/paste the report it makes into notepad and save it. if its not flagged, dont worry about doing that.

Well I might have found my real problem. Spy-Agent.ak keeps showing up after I remove it. My IE browser is being hijacked. My search page is being changed to, <none> I'm about to take this PC to my back yard and run about 50 hollow points through it I'm so mad. LDTate had me scan that file and it came up clean.

hi ROB1955,

its new software, kind of flakey still.

run about 50 hollow points through it

that would solve the problem
---------------------------------
you have avg antispyware, update, scan and save the report by using the reports button at the top. i would do the scan in safe mode after you update. i have no idea if you have done any of this or not.
to reach safe mode you would tap the f8 key during a computer restart, chsoe the first option on the list: safe mode.
please post saved report in next reply.

I have AVG and it updates several times a day when I'm on line. I updated it anyway and ran in safe mode and it found nothing. It never has as of yet. I have been through this several times with LDTate, but the problem comes back. Nothing resolved. When I run ComboFix it seems to re-appear, then I run XCleaner and it shows up and prompts me to remove it, as I do. Reboot the PC and it all starts over again. Run XCleaner to remove it, then after a reboot I run ComboFix and it comes back, every time. I'm about to find out what .357 hollow points do to a lap top.

hi ROB1955,

[quote][When I run ComboFix it seems to re-appear/quote]

what is it thats re-appearing, can you post the comboscan log and show me what it is your talking about. (this: Spy-Agent.ak?)
iam not familiar with xcleaner. you want to try another free commercial app? try superantispyware.
download, install, follow the wizard and do scan.

I have found out this much; Spy-Agent.ak is a trojan program and it resides in my hard drive cache. It reloads everytime I re-install all the software using the factory disk. That's why it keeps showing up.
