A good place to start would be to (re)install the latest drivers for your motherboard. It's likely that they will be available from the manufacturer's website, so I'd look there first.

If you would like assistance with this, I recommend you post at PC Pitstop, the people there are experts at handling this type of problem and I'm sure they'll be happy to help.
