Hello phasen and Welcome to TomCoyote, I really do not see much wrong with your hijackthis log. It does appear that you have a Symantec/Norton product installed. You also have Zone Alarm for your firewall and AVAST for your anti-virus. Please be sure that you only have one firewall application and one anti-virus application running. I am concerned that you may have Symantec anti-virus and a Symantec firewall running also. You will need to uninstall one firewall application and one antivirus application if you have two running. Please let me know what problems you are experiencing.
Thank you Susan I am new to this tool and I wanted to try it before I get into trouble. I am having some trouble navigating the forum. I am running ZoneAlarm firewall and Avast antivirus. As for Norton, I have only installed Norton Ghost for making drive backups to an external drive. I am located in a remote part of Portugal ( cork tree farm) , and your response gives me a nice feeling of having available support. Again, Thank you, Paul
You are very welcome Paul, I am sorry about the trouble navigating the forum. It may take a little time to becoming familiar with the navigation. It took me a little time when I first joined a forum to become familiar with it. We are here for you to provide support if and when you need it. I live on the coast here in Alabama. We mostly have pecan and pine trees here. Regards, Susan
