Hey guys. I'm back again for the third time and I'm getting more really annoying spyware related issues that wont go away. The first relates to a Error Loading window that comes up on startup, a .DLL file is missing from this directory C:\WINDOWS\System32\dqjyaggm.dll. I've tried searching for the file and downloading it, but its nowhere to be found. Secondly, a Spyware Guard Browser Protection window keeps coming up with a BHO value needing to be restored from this directory C:\WINDOWS\System32\mllkh.dll. Thirdly, my antivirus program keeps picking up a Trojan Horse which I've tried to delete several times but keeps coming back. The trojan horse is called Win32:Goldun-X (Trj) and is located here C:\Documents and Settings\michael\x.exe. And also theres a few popups coming up occasionally.

Heres a Hijackthis log for you. I really hope you can help me out, ur help so far has been much appreciated :)

Also I'd thought I'd mension that I'm getting these additional errors coming through.

1. A BHO has been added to this directory C:\WINDOWS\System32\gebab.dll

2. Random messages being sent to contacts on my MSN account saying "yo wtf you're nude on this photo http://www.stupidpictures.info/photo13.php". The malware/spyware takes complete control over the mouse and starts clicking on contacts, posting that message out and I have to end up opening the task manager (with difficulty) and shutting down MSN Messenger. Its driving me nuts.

3. Constant popups telling me to install anti-spyware related programs like Errorsafe
Hi

Yes, vundo isn't 100% gone, 1) and 3) are related to that

Uninstall via add/remove programs these java runtime environments:

1.5.0.4

1.5.0.6

1.5.0.8

1.5.0.9

[removed]* Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
* Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
* You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK
* When VundoFix re-opens,Click Scan for Vundo button.
* Once the scan is complete, Right Click inside the listbox (white box) and click add more files
* Copy&Paste the 3 entries below into the top 3 boxes

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\gebbcda.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\adcbbeg.*
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dqjyaggm.dll

* Click Add Files and Click Close Window
* Click the Remove Vundo button.
* You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
* Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
* When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
* Turn your computer back on.
* Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.
Here are the 2 logs you asked for. However, MSN is still really glitchy and sending all those random messages to people without my doing anything and Im still getting popups.

Hi

Looks like this vundo mutates, there's something hiding.

Create a Startup List
  • Open HiJackThis
  • Click on the "Config…" button on the bottom right
  • Click on the tab "Misc Tools"
  • Check off the 2 boxes next to the Box that says "Generate StartupList log"
  • Copy and past the StartupList from the notepad into your next post
Download F-Secure Blacklight and save it to your desktop -> https://europe.f-secure.com/blacklight/try.shtml

Doubleclick blbeta.exe, accept the agreement, click Scan, then click Next

You'll see a list what have been found. A log will appear to your desktop, it is named fsbl.xxxxxxx.log (xxxxxxx will be random numbers).

DON'T choose Rename if something was found!

Post the contents of fsbl.xxxx.log to here (xxxx= random numbers, blacklight log from your desktop)

Post:

- startuplist
- blacklight log
Just to let you know, those 3 errors aforemensioned are still coming up on startup. The RUNDLL error from C:\WINDOWS\System32\dqjyaggm.dll and the BHO error, this time on this file ddccd.dll. Also, it keeps coming up with a Troubleshoot error window from MSN Messenger and its pretty obvious why, its still glitchy.

Anyway, here are the 2 logs you requested. Hope they help. The blacklight scan found nothing though.

Hi Looks like that we found a reason for that MSN thing (IM worm): serpe = C:\WINDOWS\system32\serbw.exe Please re-run startuplist and checkmark also those two boxes next to Generate startuplist log (list empty sections and list minor sections); there's some info that we need.
Heres another startuplist for you, but I cant see it being any different to the last one. I checked the 2 boxes next to Generate Startup Log both times, but I'm glad you've discovered the error I've got with MSN.

Hi

Not much there.

Let's check this next:

Download WinPFind3U.exe to your Desktop and double-click on it to extract the files. It will create a folder named WinPFind3u on your desktop.
  • Close ALL OTHER PROGRAMS.
  • Open the WinPFind3u folder and double-click on WinPFind3U.exe to start the program.
  • Now click the Run Scan button on the toolbar.
  • The program will be scanning huge amounts of data so depending on your system it could take a long time to complete. Let it run unhindered until it finishes.
  • When the scan is complete Notepad will open with the report file loaded in it.
  • Click the Format menu and make sure that Wordwrap is not checked. If it is then click on it to uncheck it.
Use the Add Reply button and Copy/Paste the information back here. I will review it when it comes in. If, after posting, the last line is not < End of Report > then the log is too big to fit into a single post and you will need to split it into multiple posts.
Hey, I've installed the WinPFind3U program on the desktop and have run the scan several times, but for some reason it will freeze and become a non-responsive task when it scans the Run Keys. I've closed down all the programs to not interrupt the scanning process, but it still does it. How long should I be leaving the scan to run through the system? I think I waited about an hour and still nothings happening. I'll run it a few times just to make sure, but do you have any other suggestions?
