Thank you for looking at my log sheet. I have 2 problems. I can not install spybotsd14.exe I get the following error message "The application or DLL C:\Windows\System32\icm32.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette." Other problem is that I can not hookup an old HP printer. Everytime the computer tries to install I get this error message "Specified color profile is invalid" What do you think?

Hi, Still having problems. Want to mention 2 additional problems to the ones I mentioned earlier. 1. A "System 32" always opens up at startup 2. The computer keeps telling me to start Vshield from the control panel? Anyways I followed your directions below, but could not get icm32.dll registered. I get the following error message "C:\Windows\system32\icm32.dll was loaded, but the DllRegister server entry point was not found. This file can not be registered." Your thoughts?

Hi

It looks like that icm32.dll can be used without registering.

Does spybot installation work now?

As for 1., download and run this script (if antivirus warns, let it run).

As for 2., it seems to be McAfee related. Try uninstalling & re-installing McAfee.

Hi Shaba, Thanks, I was able to install spybot14. Also thanks for the download it fixed my "System 32" folder always opening up and the issue with my Vshield. I have one final issue with trying to setup a printer. It is an old HP printer and I keep getting the following error message "Specified color profile is invalid"? Did I lose my Printer Driver somehow? Or did the Printer Driver get corrupt?

Hi Do a search for icm32.dll. If you find copies of it from any other folder(s) than system32 try to replace icm32.dll with that file(copy & overwrite).

Hi, Yes, I did find that icm32.dll appeared 2 on my machine. Is it a problem having it in 2 folders? I replaced both files on Apr 2nd. I got a new message last night saying something like "The computer had to replace a file in my registry, by finding an older archived version" Do you think it swapped the icm32.dll file?
