well my system does seem to be a bit better now, before there was a definite lag to the system and to the internet whenever it was connected to the internet. Now it seems to be better, maybe currently its not as quick as before because of teatimer and PC Tools Spyware Doctor running.

I decided to restart my computer and scan Spybot again and Nurech is back on here

here is a hijackthis log too

If you didn't pay for Spyware Doctor then lets remove it, if you did then you will need to remove the The OnGuard feature in Spyware Doctor until we are done.

We will also need to disable TeaTimer
1) Run Spybot-S&D
2) Go to the Mode menu, and make sure "Advanced Mode" is selected
3) On the left hand side, choose Tools -> Resident
4) Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts
5) Restart your computer.

You will only need to reactivate one of these when we are done.

--------------------------------------------------

Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following,

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {3FA9063E-539E-4042-87EA-F1D29C8213C4} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\fccbxyy.dll (file missing)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.
Post back a fresh HijackThis log and we will take another look.

Download and install AVG Anti-Spyware (ewido). Then scan and post the report here.
Instructions and download link can be found here.

its looks and feels like its running much quicker ... so I would say its clean too ... THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I had tried many of the steps before, but I didn't know the secrets you know and the way to do things so thanks very much. I don't want to keep too much stuff running now that its clean ... should I just keep my antivirus and the spybot teatime ... or should i also b running the AVG antispyware at all times too? I hate having too many things running, but if its necessary I would THANKS again for all your wisdom!

One firewall, one anti-virus, one registry watcher like teatimer.
You can keep more than one anti-spyware program (updated) for scanning.

To help keep your PC clean follow the recommendations in Tony Klein's article
So how did I get infected in the first place?

I'm not sure what the problem is, but I just ran Spybot and has reappeared. Any ideas?

Download and Save blacklight to your desktop.
F-Secure Blacklight: https://europe.f-sec...light/try.shtml
Double-click blbeta.exe then accept the agreement.
click > scan then > next,
You'll see a list of all items found - if found, so don't worry it tells that there were no files found.
In case hidden files were found, Don't choose for rename yet! I want to see the log first, because legit items can also be present there...
There must be also a log on your desktop with the name fsbl.xxxxxxx.log (the xxxxxxx stand for numbers)
Post the contents of the log in your next reply.
