ojkoixux.dll <-- Won't Google so don't know what it is. Lets see if we got rid of the 020 after prevx and HJT The problem we have been facing is that most of this garbage is written in Europe and the Pacific Rim countries and the past 6 months or so we are starting to notice some of this coming from China and a lot of the tools we use wont remove it.

Look for and delete these files, do you still have windows enabled to show all files and folders, if they won't delete you may have to boot to safemode, if they still wont delete let me know which ones.

C:\Program Files\E¥EöA,
C:\Program Files\loud curb bows
C:\WINDOWS\wuaucll.exe <-- Prevx removed this one but check anyway
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dufs2.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dufs1.exe

Copy the contents of the below quote box to Notepad; Save As FixReg.reg to your Desktop; make sure File Type: is set to All Files (*.*).

REGEDIT4

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\cryptimg]

Close Notepad.

Locate FixReg.reg on your Desktop.
Double-click on it and answer 'Yes' when asked if you want to merge with the registry.

Reboot and post a new HJT log

Its still there, I am starting to run out of ideas. The file is missing so I don't know why HJT wont remove it.

Have you tried disabling AVG Free AV, right click on it in the system tray and disable it, open AVG Anti Spyware and make sure the Back Ground Guard is disabled. Open up Prevx and make sure that its disabled. Something on your system is blocking it from being removed.

Then try again to remove it HJT
O20 - Winlogon Notify: cryptimg - cryptimg.dll (file missing)

Run this quick scan to see if there are any hidden files

Download and Save Blacklight to your desktop:
  • Double-click blbeta.exe
  • Then accept the agreement
  • Click > scan then > next
  • You'll see a list of all items found. There will also be a log on your desktop with the name fsbl.xxxxxxx.log (the xxxxxxx stand for numbers).
  • Copy and paste this log in your next reply.
  • Don't choose the rename option yet! I want to see the log first, because legitimate items can also be present there, such as "wbemtest.exe"

Is this where you see Kernel Fault Check

The Kernel Fault Check on your log is not the same as the one in the forums that you have been looking at, so I doubt it will be in the folder below, but you can check.

C:\ > Documents and Settings> ( YOUR NAME OR CHECK IN ALL USERS ) Start Menu > Programs > Startup.

If its there, delete it, then try removing that 020 entry with HJT

This may or may not be the problem, it may just be signaling a problem with a program.

Remove it with HJT, but it may come back on reboot
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k
O20 - Winlogon Notify: cryptimg - cryptimg.dll (file missing)

Then plug this in to Kilbox as a single file.

Download Pocket Killbox to your desktop, unzip it to a folder that you can find

C:\windows\system32\ntvbm.exe

Highlight the file with the complete path inside the Quote Box and press Ctrl C on your keyboard.
  • Open Pocket Killbox
  • Go to File > Paste from clipboard
  • Set it to Delete on Reboot
  • Tick the box that says End Explorer shell while killing file
  • If its not greyed out..Click the radio button that say Unregister .dll before deleting.
  • Make sure Single File is selected
  • Click on the Red circle with the white X
  • It will ask you to confirm the deletion...Say yes
  • It will ask you to reboot, say yes
If you get a message "pending operations has been stopped by external process!" then reboot the computer manually.
