Hi,

I can't see anything suspicious in your log, however, there's one file I would like to have a sample from.

Go to this page.
Enter the url of this thread in the first field.
Where it says, browse to the file that you want to submit, click the browse button next to it and browse to next file, select it and click ok:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\TwcToolbarIe7.dll

Then click the Send File button below.

The problem you are dealing with is most probably caused by you desktop enhancement tools (StyleXP, CursorXP).

What file do I want to submit? Do you mean the Hijack log?

Hello, No, read my instructions again. You have to submit the C:\WINDOWS\system32\TwcToolbarIe7.dll It is most probably a legit file but we need it so we can update some databases. No need to post a new Hijackthislog since your problem is not malware related here. As I already said, it's most probably caused by one of your desktop enhancement tools.

Hi, Thanks for the file. Anyway, the reason why I am suspecting one of your desktop enhancement tools is because I've had this issue as well in the past. I had Windowblinds installed, and for some reason, this was the cause why my computer froze after being idle for a certain period of time. However, in your case it could be something else as well, but the fact that you also have desktop enhancement tools installed, it *could be the cause. In anyway, try next first.. Open Control Panel, select "switch to classic View" on the left. Then doubleclick the "Power Options" icon. Under the Power schemes tab, set all to "never" there. Click apply and ok. Maybe that will solve the problem. In case it doesn't, it may be a good idea to disable your screensaver as well. To do this, rightclick your desktop > properties > screensaver > and select (none) there from the dropdown list.

I have uninstalled the desktop enhancements, set power options to never and disabled the scrn svr. I'll give this a try. Thanks again.
