Welcome to the forum.

Not much showing - You do have Viewpoint Manager Service on the system which we recommended to remove.

Some of the entries show "file missing" if you no longer have these please fix them.

Go to Start->Run and type "Services.msc" (without quotes) then hit Ok
Scroll down and find the service called:
Viewpoint Manager Service

When you find it, double-click on it. In the next window that opens, click the Stop button, then click on properties and under the General Tab, change the Startup Type to Disabled. Now hit Apply and then Ok and close any open windows. If you donīt find this service listed go ahead with the next steps.


Close ALL programs down, leaving ONLY HijackThis running - Click Scan and.....
Place a check against the following items:

O2 - BHO: AOL Toolbar Launcher - {7C554162-8CB7-45A4-B8F4-8EA1C75885F9} - C:\Program Files\AOL\AOL Toolbar 2.0\aoltb.dll (file missing)
O3 - Toolbar: AOL Toolbar - {DE9C389F-3316-41A7-809B-AA305ED9D922} - C:\Program Files\AOL\AOL Toolbar 2.0\aoltb.dll (file missing)
O9 - Extra button: PartyPoker.com - {B7FE5D70-9AA2-40F1-9C6B-12A255F085E1} - C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\RunApp.exe (file missing)

Click on Fix Checked and exit HijackThis.

Go to Start > Run and paste this command into the open field hitting OK

sc delete "Viewpoint Manager Service"

Thanks! did everything except the final instruction didn;t work when I tried to delete the VIEWPOINT folder from Program Files, the message appeared "Cannot delete ViewMgr.exe; access is denied.........Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use" Is this a problem?

Go to Start> Settings > Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs and remove the following programs if present.
  • Viewpoint
  • Viewpoint Manager
  • Viewpoint Media Player
Reboot and try to delete it now and post a fresh HJT log, MrC
