Here's my HijackThis log. I started getting pop-ups and sluggish browsing ths morning. I also got a weird icon in the taskbar telling me to upgrade my antivirus, but looked alot like malware. After running my anti-virus program, Spybot, and Ad-aware, I went searching for answers to the problems they couldn't fix. I did some of the suggested actions, like use SDFix and VundoFix. A short time ago, I was able to browse the internet with relative ease, but I'm not convinced the problem was magically solved. Any suggestions or help would be great.

Double-click My Computer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
Click the View tab. Clear "Hide file extensions for known file types."
Under the "Hidden files" folder, select "Show hidden files and folders." Clear "Hide protected operating system files."
Click Apply, and then click OK.
Open the HijackThis Folder. Find the file HijackThis.exe, Right Click on the file and Select Rename. Rename Hijackthis.exe to Spyware.exe.
Thanks for the reply. Here is the new HJT log with your recommendations. Also, the problem seems to have gotten worse. Everything is much slower and my processor meter occassionally jumps to 100%.

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!
if you receive, while running option #1, an error similar like: ''C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. choose close to terminate the application.."…then please use option 5 or the web page link in the l2mfix folder to solve this error condition. do not run the fix portion without fixing this first.
Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.
From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.
Note : Once the pc has restarted if a log does not appear or the icons didn't disappear, run the "second.bat" located inside the L2mfix folder.
After the fix portion is done. Please run the option to restore the winlogon defaults (menu option 2) as most of the notify key is missing. After you do that post an option 1 log again.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder unless you are asked to do so!
If after the reboot the desktop icons dont dissappear or the log does not pop up then in the l2mfix folder double click the second.bat file to continue with the fix.
Here's the logs. I couldn't find the option to restore winlogon defaults. But I did everything else. I'm not sure what's supposed to happen at this point, but I no longer receive a nefarious icon in my taskbar, but still get pop-ups when I'm in IE.

Open a Notepad file by clicking Start > Run and typing Notepad.exe in the box, click OK.
Click Format, and ensure Word Wrap is unchecked.
Copy and Paste all the text inside the box below into Notepad.
Now save the file as RemoveFiles.txt in a location where you can find it.

Below is the new HJT log. I was not permitted to delete winzlo32.dll and ssqpo.dll appeared to be gone. The computer seemed to run normal after running the Avenger program, prior to the last post. Now it seems to be running a bit slower. It is difficult to click on an icon or a toolbar item. the internet is running great, and with no popups. I'm still receiving the "drvgej.dll" error on startup. Also, I noticed that just after the WindowsXP splash screen and just before the User Logon screen a blue screen shows the following: "Regrun Partizen Rootkit Killer Greatis Software 2006". I may have the Partizen part wrong, but the screen wasn't there prior to my original issue.
