What comes up as keylogger is \DRIVER\SSKBFD . When I do a search, I find it. Its a sys file (sorry) not a dll. It's in C:\WINNT\system32\drivers . If I highlight it on the search it says it is associated with Spy Sweeper keyboard filter driver from Webroot. I do have Spy Sweeper. When I emailed support there but did not get a response on whether it was one of their files. It had not come up from NIS/NAV before I changed to Kasperky. I am still having the same problem with my browser as well- three clicks and the browser hangs without ever connecting to the next link or page.

Link follows:
http://www.thespykil...hp?topic=3678.0

I nuploaded the file.

In the meantime (and sorry I did add a different post for this), my Internet connectivity has totally died. Fortunately, I have my work laptop on the same network and am using.

I did Diagnose Network Problem in IE7 which came back reporting a corrupt Winsock directory (?). I could not restart the computer at that moment. And, when I ran diagnose again, it simply came back with an unspecified- can't connect at all!

Not sur ehow to repair this or if it is really the problem. Should I post another HJT log?

((Many thanks for all the pantience. It is appreciated.)

Sorry I never responded back. Ended up having to reinstall- so spent the last week reinstalling apps amd data. The program did indeed fix Winsock but the problem persisted- interestingly, only in normal mode. Safe mode worked as did other browsers and email in normal mode. Of course nothing goes totally smoothly. Got everything back except for iTunes- which works in normal mode but can't connect to the internet for authorisations or purchase (assume it goes to a server directly rather than a web page as the store itself appears. No onew has been able to figure that one out either! (Tried the usual suspects.) l will try a few more things and maybe open a new post. Thanks for the help- really appreciated!
