Hello All,

Yes a faint movie/cartoon, nice! I know I have been jacked… very badly this time.
Monday afternoon, I had this message almost all done…. took much time, then WHAM!!! browser turns off, lost my post, everything, even was saving while I was writing…..gone! Someone is watching me, no, I am not a fool. After your help, please advise on the very best keylogger/stroker to install. I want to catch this idiot - or whatever keythingy I need. I am the only one on this PC….. well not as of recent—> I think it is a cartoon actually, well at least my monitor is not shaking… yet.

I know you are all 'experts' and you definitely assisted me extremely well the last visit. :D … THX LDTate, sincerely.
Sorry for too much detail, hold on, here we go…

Windows Messenger Service Enable/Disable might be one of the culprits via ZoneAlarm

I have some suspicious files, tried endlessly to publish on the web… to no avail. Perhaps I can email them… or on second thought, then my PC may offer you a cookie or two… Probably not a good idea at present.

Windows Installer constantly tries to install MSOffice when cursor moves over My Network Places or opens this….. Office was already installed moons ago.
Changed my RAM from 256 to 768… everything was working great! more RAM is good!

Reverted to ie6 from ie7 (what a headache)… Microsoft Update page shows my history…. it has a failed attempt at installing ie7… and I can't remove it… add/delete programs, it's not there,tried some spunist(sp?)
in cmd prompt…. I don't have it. MShomepage listed me as running ie7…. when I click 'about' on my homepage, it's ie6.
Right now…. I can't even copy this text to save….NICE! oh, now I can.
AVG virus scanner is now up to over 150000 files, was at 80000

So while on ie6, hit 'back' button, and there it was, trialfusion, never visited that page… this cookie is from using live365.com….. states in AdAware and XsoftSpySE that risk is low. Leave my pages alone !!!!!!!

My computer is sending out cookies, it's very friendly you know…

WIN,2007/01/27,00:14:16 -5:00 GMT,72.1xx.x.xx:50693,74.xx.xxx.xx:xx48,UDP
Cookie that my system sent : ID=2dce634a003660
Your User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; InfoPath.1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727)
My Browser Add-ons: .NET Common Language Runtime Version 2, .NET Common Language Runtime
Extra Browser Add-ons : InfoPath.1
… or did someone send it to me??….

many hits on ZoneAlarm… over 2000… I know they are not all idiots…. but example… one friend knows my email address and another does not… they do not know eachother, but both try to jack my system.. so are they really friends??

After BLUE Screen of Death, had to do a system restore, then I did a chkdsk….. results came to fast I could not read any of it.
In add/remove progams- I set changes in Access and Defaults…. well the boogieman is constantly changing them and he/she is changing my homepage… what a jackthis!

Running… AVG Virus Free Edition/ZoneAlarm Free Ed./ATF-Cleaner/RegCure/XoftSpySE/AdAware
Leaktest(ZA is working perfectly, although I think on their program list, some are Mal/Spy SecurityTaskManager/ProgramChecker/ShootTheMessenger/SmartUndelete (was for finding my original post to you!) it didn't work, I shouldn't have browsed so much after I lost the page… live and learn.

Keep finding CWS.Oslogo… This post took me hours to finish, why? because someone is probably watching what I type, and when I am ready to post…… GONE…. :rant2: ARGH!!! it's the cartoon watching me, yeah, that's it.

Here's the latest, MSN has specified that I tried to log in too many times or I didn't know my password or someone else is try to sign in…….. CARTOON~~~~ actually it may be something very different, I guess I should have been watching more closely!!

All in all, I have learned a great deal from these experiences. But it's time to get back to smooth surfing!!

Thanking you in advance for your patience in reading this and foremost YOUR EXPERTISE !!!
Sincerely,
Paula

You may be prompted to scan immediately if GMER detects rootkit activity.
  • If you are prompted to scan your system click "yes" to begin the scan.
  • If you are not prompted, Click the "Rootkit" tab, then click "Scan".
DO NOT touch the PC at ALL for Whatever reason/s until it has 100% completed its scan, or attempted scan in case of some error etc !

Thank you Susan! No more movies/cartoons.. yeah! MSN is working perfectly Windows Installer is very persistent…. if I accept the download it constantly fails to load!?? Is it safe to say that the hijackers are gone? Worried to send emails if my computer is still sending out 'cookies' to others? In a previous log sent to you, it described that my computer was sending out cookies. Was this true? And how did this happen? From someone hijacking me? Do I keep AdAware, XoftSpySE and AVG anti Spy and run all three just to be safe? I have never used Mozilla, do I keep it? Don't even know what that is, but have read it is not 'good' on for a computer….. through internet sites, to believe or not? Would really like your opinion if you have time…… how to truly delete ie7 for good and what would you suggest to keep any keyloggers away? Is there an anti-logger I can download? Finally, is it in my best interest to get a router? Better security? This is my home PC, no others in the house, just me. Thank you, thank you for your time and expertise !! Update… Just browsing the net, and here they come back… The following log is from AdAware, 11 Critical…. I figure something was happening when my computer screen started shaking. I also found out that 2 ports were closed, yet the site said that was a threat to trojans. RPC and SOCKSPROXY could you assist with this also? Or it's nothing to worry about? Thank you for your time, sincerely. Additional post to follow.
