Hi:
I've tried using the following to solve my computer system problems no avail:
AntiVirus Software
Ad-Aware SE personal
SpyWare Blaster
SpyBot
CCleaner
HiJackThis
Despite having repeatedly removing a variety of suspicious files from our computer system……………………..The following Pop-Ups keep coming back:
"System_Integrity_Scan_Wizard"
"Malicious_Software_Removal_Wizard"
"System Security Center"
Another Pop-Up contains the following links:
"Ultimate Defender"
"Ultimate Cleaner"
"WinSecureDisc"
The following susopicious files (Only a Partial List) appear to be involved in causing the problems
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\isc_ui.exe"
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\msahgjee.dll" (As a BHO)
"Win32.Agent.Acz"
"Nous-Tech.UDefender"
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ztestkey"
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\wsc"
"C:\Program Files\Ultimate Defender\"
"UltimateCleaner 2007"
"System erros Found"
"Internet privacy Pre Scan"
The source of the above problems is likely:
"Nous-Tech Solutions Ltd."

  • Under Main choose: Select All
  • Click the Empty Selected button.
If you use Firefox browser
  • Click Firefox at the top and choose:Select All

You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
  • The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
  • Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
  • Now click on Scan Settings
  • In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
  • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
  • Standard
  • Scan Options:
  • Scan Archives
  • Scan Mail Bases
  • Click OK
  • Now under select a target to scan:
  • Select My Computer
  • This will program will start and scan your system.
  • The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
  • Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
  • Now click on the Save as Text button:
  • Save the file to your desktop.
Copy and paste that information from Kapersky in your next post.

Please post the ComboFix log, the Kapersky log, and a new hijackthis log.

If you have to split up the information and post (reply) a few times, please do that so I can see it all.

My Note to "Susan528": I hope that we can find the fix for these problems.
Hi: The following may be problems. They seem to come and go: • C:\WINNT\system32\wsctcgm.dll • C:\WINNT\system32\msahgjee.dll • C:\WINNT\system32\isc_ui.exe • C:\WINNT\system32\ooercnl.dll • C:\WINNT\system32\gvgbkvut.exe
Please do the following:

Scan with HijackThis. Place a check against each of the following:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [gvgbkvut.exe] C:\WINNT\system32\gvgbkvut.exe
Close all windows or browsers except for Hijackthis. Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

======
Delete Files with Killbox

Download Pocket Killbox from http://www.downloads.subratam.org/KillBox.zip and unzip it; save it to your Desktop. DO NOT RUN IT YET.
==========
Double-click on KillBox.exe to launch the program. It is the red circle with a large white X in it
- Highlight the files in bold RED below and press the Ctrl key and the C key at the same time to copy them to the clipboard
C:\WINNT\system32\msahgjee.dll
C:\WINNT\system32\snswdnc.dll
C:\WINNT\system32\isc_ui.exe
C:\WINNT\system32\wsctcgm.dll
C:\WINNT\system32\jrwfcah.dll
C:\WINNT\system32\oxovgu.dll
C:\WINNT\system32\ooercnl.dll
C:\WINNT\system32\gvgbkvut.exe

In Killbox click on the File menu and then the Paste from Clipboard item
in the Full Path of File to Delete field drop down the arrow and make sure that all of the files are listed
(Please note that the tool checks your computer for the presence of the files pasted into the box so if files are not present, it is possible that you might not see all files you pasted into the box.)
  • Click the option to Delete on Reboot
  • Click End Explorer Shell while Killing File
  • Click All Files right of the flashing green "Single files"
  • Click Yes when it asks "Files will be Removed on Reboot, Do you want to reboot now?"
(Note: If you get a "PendingFileRenameOperations Registry Data has been Removed by External Process!" message then just reboot manually)

If you have any issues with this method you can copy and paste the lines one at a time into the killbox top box. Then click the "Single File" button. Then click the Red X …and for the confirmation message that will appear, you will need to click Yes. A second message will ask to Reboot now? you will need to click No until the last one at which time you click yes to allow the reboot.

This scan works with Internet Explorer.

======

A new window will open…click the Check Now button
  • Enter your Country
  • Enter your State/Province
  • Enter your e-mail address and click send
  • Select either Home User or Company
  • Click the big Scan Now button
  • If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
  • It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
  • When download is complete, click on Local Disks to start the scan
  • When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location.
Post the contents of the Panda scan report, along with a new HijackThis Log, by using Add Reply.
Let us know if any problems persist.

Please Note:
When working within the “HijackThis” program’s “Configuration” section under the “Main” tab………………I changed the MSIE “Default Start Page” URL address to the start page that I actually have in my MSIE settings. In other words…..I changed the MSIE “Default Start Page” URL address to the following: http://192.168.1.1/
If my having made the above change was a Mistake – Please let me know and I’ll re-run the “HijackThis” program and I’ll leave the “wrong” default URL address that the program automatically fills in by itself.
However, if (By changing the URL address to the start page that I actually have in my MSIE settings) I took the Correct action (In taking the aforementioned action) – Please let me know that I took the correct action.
——————————————————————————————————-

Per your instructions………..I downloaded the “AVG Anti-Spyware” program as version 7.5. I also updated the program by clicking on the “Update Now” link.
Please Note:
a) I was unable to “Change State” of the programs “Resident Shield” to “inactive”. “Resident Shield” is apparently “Not available in the free version”.
b) I was unable to “Change State” of the programs “Automatic Updates” to “inactive”. “Resident Shield” is apparently “Not available in the free version”.
c) You referred to the programs “Anti-Spyware Tray Icon”……..Is the aforementioned “Tray Icon” located next to the clock at the bottom right side of the computer monitors screen on the “Task Bar”?
d) I was unable to “Right Click” on the programs “Anti-Spyware Tray Icon” and Uncheck the ”Start with Windows” link as it was “Grayed Out”. Control of or availability of the programs - ”Start with Windows” link is apparently “Not available in the free version”. The “Grayed Out” ”Start with Windows” link was apparently unchecked as the programs default setting.

Well, the Alnet problem is fixed.
C:\Program Files\K-Lite_v2.7.2\traffic.core -> Adware.Altnet : Cleaned with backup (quarantined).

Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

Reboot into Safe Mode: please see here if you are not sure how to do this.

Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them:
C:\!KillBox\all files<=delete all the files in the !Killbox folder
C:\WINNT\system32\isc_cpl.cpl
<=file
Exit Explorer, and reboot as normal afterwards.

You still have these. But you did not give me any files or folders that were infected by these.
CRCK_PCCCRACK.F

Also you mentioned CWS – what message did you receive pertaining to that?

Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2005 – this is an old version since 2007 is out. If you wish to keep with Trend Micro then I would recommend upgrading to 2007. When it pertains to matters of security, it is best to keep current there.

You mentioned the following:
"Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2005 – this is an old version since 2007 is out. If you wish to keep with Trend Micro then I would recommend upgrading to 2007. When it pertains to matters of security, it is best to keep current there."

I have a question:
What's the difference between my utilizing "Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2005" With daily updates as opposed to me using "Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007"?
I was able to locate and delete all of the contents of the "!Killbox folder". C:\!KillBox\all files<=delete all the files in the !Killbox folder However, I was Unable to locate and or delete the "isc_cpl.cpl" file. C:\WINNT\system32\isc_cpl.cpl<=file Please note: In addition to your instructions………….I manually edited the registry in order to solve the problem(s). It appears that the problems may have been solved. However, only time will tell. Thank you.
This is from your Panda log
Potentially unwanted tool:Application/UltimateDefender Not disinfected
C:\WINNT\system32\isc_cpl.cpl <= I guess that was not the complete file name. Sorry about that.

Are you sure you do not want to post another hijackthis log?

Also about the Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2005- I read that it is best to keep current versions of security applications. Therefore I would recommend upgrading to the 2007 version.

If money is an issue, I would recommend using firewall and anti-virus applications that are free for personal use.

Are you noticing any problems? I suspect that the CWS is a false positive since the AVG anti-spyware scan showed nothing. Also I found a similar case where person had the CWS in log and other scans showed nothing—it was concluded that it was false positive. However, if you are experiencing problems, that is a different story.

Here is the thread. If you notice, it is similar file to yours,
