Hey guys,
I have been checking out this forum's topics and also the spybot search and destroy safer networking forum since last night, when I accidentally incurred the malware wrath. I have seen recent posts about basically the exact thing that is affecting my windows xp system. I have followed what the other topics on this forum have said and done other things elsewhere to try and eliminate it. I have used Spybot Search and Destroy, (already had Ad-aware and did that), ran the SmitFraud fix, and some other malware programs, (which i have now deleted and just kept the ones you guys advise here). I seemed to have really incurred the malware wrath. I believe I got rid of most of everything, including the MSASVC.EXE malware which was very persistent but i got rid of that with a register script. Also I have gotten rid of since last night when I got this ctpmon.exe, adirss.exe, adir.dll, taskdir.exe, lnwin.exe, and most of the little files that go along with the malware. I have been in safe mode since this morning, doing all that stuff, and I thought I was going to be okay, the only thing that was persisting was the system32:huy32.sys (this was discussed in a recent thread on the forum) and one other .sys that was questionable. So i thought i'd be fine booting up normal, but alas, after about 30 sec - 1 min after logging in y pc restarted. That when I thought it was high time I ask for your guys help. (I should've done it earlier, but I like to try and figure stuff out myself :) So sorry for all the talk, just wanted to give you guys the background and know what I've done this far so you be able to help.

Thanks!!!
i just ran Ad-Aware again, and it located 23 objects under the WIN32.TROJAN.MATRISHASYOU malware. It also found a file of SpyArsenal HomeKeyLogger and another of ADWARE.DOLLARREVENUE and 4 tracking cookies related to site I never even came close to. I actually ran SpyBot Search & Destroy and it found zero, yes zero, harmful files, and then right after that I ran Ad-Aware and it found 31 harmful objects including those malicious trojan files. I deleted those files and ran another HijackThis for analysis (in safe mode still, regular boot is unstable)

First off, I would like to apologize for the really bad title of this thread. I know its a bad title and I did not know how to describe my problems in a title and it seemed recently the problem I was having has surfaced (I read a recent thread on the same symptoms my machine was having.)

Ok. I rebooted into regular boot mode and it seemed to be doing good for a long while. But after about 5-10 minutes, it suddenly rebooted, so apparently something is still lingering. I believe I got most of the hardcore stuff erased, I just need some help clearing up the remnant files.
There was a couple questionable executables I noticed running:

the first was RUNDLL32.exe, I know there is a legit one, but both RUNDLL32.exe and rundll32.exe where actually running at the same time, and I had actually never seen RUNDLL32.exe before all this started.

the second is Partizan.exe, this is located in windows/system32 folder and I do not know what it is. I googled it and found almost no results, so I'm wondering if this is malicious at all or a legit executable - I don't know, I was hoping you guys did.

Ok, I just rebooted again (I am typing this message from my laptop) and now Windows is repeatedly popping up an box that says "The system has recovered from a serious error." and then the asking to send error report or don't send. Either way, it just keeps popping up repeatedly when I close out of the box.

Heres the HijackThis log:

This log is from regular mode (not safe mode like the others) and this is now on a decently stable regular boot. So if anyone can see any remaining bad files in the log, I would greatly appreciate it and be very glad to get my system back to clean. I got all the really malicious files off there I think, I just need to get rid of the remnants. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Craig
Hey guys,
I believe I have nullified the malware on my system and it seems to be running very nicely, back to normal. I used AVG AntiVirus (found ~30 virus/trojan files last time, which wasn't detected by the other programs, so now they are terminated), Ad-aware (which has found several files over the past few days), and Spybot Search and Destroy (which has found several files over the past few days as well). Using these three today, I believe I have gotten rid of the malware that infested my system. I'll post the HijackThis log after I finished cleaning up the system. I looked over it and believe the log is clean, it all looks good. If anyone wants to look over the look and check it real quick to verify that nothing is wrong, that would give me the final assurance that I have gotten everything off my system. I know you guys have a lot of logs and problems that you work on here, so I tried to get everything figured out myself. You guys have an excellent forum here and I really like what you guys are doing.

If anyone wants to confirm that there is nothing harmful in that log, that would be great, because I looked it over and did not see anything malicious in there.
Thanks!
Sorry for the delay
