As far as the operating status of my computer, it has been working okay, I just want to start learning what kind of stuff I should look to delete using HijackThis, and what I should leave alone.

Run hijackthis. Hit None of the above, Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a Check in the box on the left side on these:

O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe
O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler.exe

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"
