Hi meleand welcome to Tom Coyote forums

I am currently looking over your log. As I am an Undergraduate, everything that I post to you must be checked by an Admin or Moderator. Thus, there may be a tiny bit of a delay between posts, but it shouldn't be too long. I will post back shortly with a potential fix.

Thanks for your patience!

dan

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/lonny/Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts.
You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so.
Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

Once the desktop loads a text that will open (report.txt) Please save this file, you'll need to post it with a new HijackThis log.

Next:
Click Start> Run> type in CMD tap enter key
Copy/Paste: ipconfig /flushdns

Now lets check some settings on your system.
Enter your Control Panel and double-click on Network Connections

Then right click on your Default Connection
Usually Local Area Connection for Cable and DSL
Left click on Properties
Double-Click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item
Select the radio dial that says Obtain DNS Servers Automatically
Press OK twice to get out of the properties screen and reboot if it asks

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner»
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time or two

Reboot and "copy/paste" the text file (report.txt) and a new Hijackthis log

Also please describe how your computer is behaving at the moment.

Please include new HJT log in your next post
Thanks dan

It may be helpful to know that when you put an item in your Trusted Zone, it has pretty much full access to your computer… Are you sure you trust this site to that degree?? If you're not sure, and/or you do not need this site in your trusted zone to facilitate access, or you did not knowingly permit this access yourself, then please fix the following O15 entry….

Run HijackThis, select Do a system scan only and place checks against the following entries (if they are still present)
O15 - Trusted Zone: *.sf-anytime.com

Run HijackThis, select Do a system scan only and place checks against the following entries (if they are still present)
O15 - Trusted Zone: *.sf-anytime.com

Im not sure if i should blast this one. sf-anytime provides movies trough internet service against payment. And i think ie has installed activex from their site.
Hi mele, Maybe you have used this site in the past! to download movies, It appears to be located in Sweden and deals only with users who are also located in Sweden. If you use this site frequently, trust the site, and are comfortable leaving this entry in your Trusted Zone, that's up to you. however, realize that you are taking a big security risk by allowing any site to have unfettered access to your Trusted Zone. This is your call it's your machine, I can only advise you. Let me know how things are running? dan
Oh!!! actually i havent done nothing to it since last time because my opinion is that i can trust sf-anytime. sf-anytime is also working in Finland area and they have finnish site also. My local phone company is also advertising this service. Or was there something also besides sf-anytime?

Or was there something also besides sf-anytime?

This is what I'm trying to find out for you, to give an all clear. With out scans returned I'm unable to give you that assurance.
Regarding "sf-anytime" this is your choice, I can only give you advice.
Regards dan
