hi there. aint got another modem to try but was fine before this and how do i check temperature of processor and motherboard. am sorry but not very tech minded although have learnt a lot from you regarding virus etc. thanks

have cleaned fan as well. just lost. seems to be connected to net cos error doesnt come up when not connected.

right. couldnt open file. got following mess. this location is unavailable. It could be on hard drive on this comp or on network. Try again connected to network (which i did) if cannot be located information might have been moved to different location
ok will do. just something i have noticed. in the temp file which mentioned before has got perflib files in like a media player and noticed aint go windows media and all music files are in this perflib format. looked at events in administrator on control panel which shows reports and loadperf is reason for application error. will do as you asked and get back to you. thanks
this text file in c:\docume~1\sue\locals~1\temp\ appcompat.txt file. there are two.
mentioned on last post about other files in temp folder labeled perflib. cannot open them with music player and have tried notebook etc say could have been sent by email and encoded. maybe nothing but it all started with . thanks.
hi there me again. did as u asked downloaded winpfind3u . extracted fine then when tried to scan it came up with message chosen non responsive programe. looked at tech details and it refers to c:\docume~1\sue\locals~1\temp\wer21e0dir00\winpfindu.exe.mdmp and same again ending in \appcompat.txt.
