many popups

I'm getting lots of popups, Ive just scanned with adaware and spybot search and destroy, and also avg antivirus. The scan shows, "forktheeggs" as an entry and i have removed this using hijackthis and it comes back. Task manager show 2 or 3 cases of internet explorer running when none are. I have ended these also and they come back.Here is a copy of my log if you would be so kind to help.

Please Download NoLop to your desktop from one of the links below…

  • Double click NoLop.exe to run it
  • Now click the button labelled "Search and Destroy"

  • When scanning is finished you will be prompted to reboot only if infected, Click OK
  • Now click the "REBOOT" Button.
  • A Message should popup from NoLop. If not, double click the program again and it will finish Please Post the contents of C:\NoLop.log along with a fresh HijackThis log
–If you receive an error, "mscomctl.ocx or one of its dependencies are not correctly registered," please download mscomctl.ocx to your system32 folder then rerun the program. –

as far as nolop log all i could find was a NoLopBackups folder and this 1 file was in it and i can't open it.

Hi

It should be there -> C:\nolop.log. You can open it using eg. Notepad.

If not, re-run nolop and send its log then there, please :)



Hi Shaba, I just ran nolop again as you requested, and now it says i have no infections, still buy the way no folder that says nolop.log so here is my just now scaned hijackthis log file if it helps

Hi Unfortunately you have lop infection no matter whether or not nolop finds it :) Nolop.log is no folder but a file. It should be in c root (c:\nolop.log) Try using Find function in order to find it, please :)

Boot in safe mode

Hi

Please do an online scan with Kaspersky Online Scanner. You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
  • The program will launch and then start to download the latest definition files.
  • Once the scanner is installed and the definitions downloaded, click Next.
  • Now click on Scan Settings
  • In the scan settings make sure that the following are selected:

    o Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:

    + Extended (If available otherwise Standard)

    o Scan Options:

    + Scan Archives
    + Scan Mail Bases

  • Click OK
  • Now under select a target to scan select My Computer
  • The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run. Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
  • Now click on the Save as Text button
  • Save the file to your desktop.
  • Copy and paste that information in your next post.

Please download the Killbox.
Unzip it to the desktop.

Please run Killbox.

Select "Delete on Reboot" and "All files"

Copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:
