Hello and welcome to the forum.

Sorry about the delay in responding :(

If you still need help, Scan again with HijackThis, and copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.

Please use the [external image: Posted Image] Button below to reply. Thanks
This is my newest hijack log

I had been having problems with pages loading very slowly, if at all, mainly when I visited the ebay site. I run Zone Alarm and had the cookie control and the ad blocking set on high. I have since found that if I set them at medium, the pages load quickly as they should. I do however get a lot more tracking cookies etc now when I run ad-aware. Hopefully you can advise if it is okay to run zonealarm at the medium setting, and if not, is there a way to fix the problem of slow loading pages if I return the setting to high. (I realize this may be something I need to contact zonelabs tech support for)

In scrolling through hijack log, I noticed a couple things that I thought I had deleted from my computer: Network magic and mcafee, I don't use either of those anymore. Not sure what some of the others things are of course which is why I am here for your help :0)

Other than the issue with the slow loading ebay pages, the computer seems to be running as it should.
Thanks for any help!

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner»
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time or two.

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis log file into this thread.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.

Please use the [external image: Posted Image] Button below to reply.
After I followed the directions for the services utility, I could not check the following two as they were no longer listed in the hijack scan:

O23 - Service: Pure Networks Net2Go Service (nmraapache) - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\Pure Networks\Network Magic\WebServer\bin\nmraapache.exe" -k runservice (file missing)
O23 - Service: Pure Networks Network Magic Service (nmservice) - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\Pure Networks\Network Magic\nmsrvc.exe (file missing)

When I rebooted the computer after the ATF cleaner, it didn't appear to be affected as far as running slower. Rebooted normally if not a bit faster.

I set the ZoneAlarm Cookie control and the Ad blocking back to high. So far the ebay pages are loading fine but I'll see if things change when I get a chance to stay on there awhile.

Also wanted to mention in the control panel, I am missing the Java icon. This was missing before I did any of the hijack scans. Wondering if you can offer help in getting it back (if I need it):

Thanks for your time and help!!

Note: This will remove all previous Restore Points

Turn off System Restore:

On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Restart your computer, turn it back on.

On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Remove the Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Double-click My Computer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
Check "Hide file extensions for known file types."
Under the "Hidden files" folder, Uncheck "Show hidden files and folders."
Check "Hide protected operating system files."
Click Apply, and then click OK.

If you dont have any programs like these, I would recommend that you get them.
Spywareblaster,
Spywareguard.

Also get a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.

Do not use Ad-aware if you have McAfee's VirusScan and AntiSpyware

Safe Surfing. :D
